  1. Sorry I can't make it up there this weekend. I have no info for you.
  2. Thanks something for me to remember.
  3. How are you liking your place on bull? The wife and I are thinking we might do that too. The recent years of high water have made us take pause.
  4. I am going to try for tomorrow, but I will be north 215. I will let you know if no one else has any info.
  5. Look familiar. I recon there is probably a camp ground behind you. I think you are catching walleye bait.
  6. How is the noise? I think my old Stevens 22 is fairly quiet. I have heard some that are just as load as a 22.
  7. Christmas monkey? I can't stop laughing !! Great job! What's the word on the walleye bite at the tail water areas?
  8. Ha ha I think you would have shore line in the background in any of those places.
  9. Alright here is mine....
  10. I agree. To bad lowrance, mercury, motorguide are in bed together. One call to any of those outfits and you will think of changing brands for sure.
  11. My first motor would not acquire a gps lock. Turned out to be a bad internal gps puck. MG sent me a new software up load which of course did not fix it. Took the thing back to BPS within the grace period after purchase, they swapped me out for a new one. I haven't had any real trouble with it since. It doesn't like to spot lock under bridges real well, and sometimes while in course lock and cruise control it will just take off at full speed which is irritating, but all in all, I like it, I think it is the neatest thing since pockets on a shirt. My money is on the GPS puck, for the fix. The software up grade was free and easy to do. One more thing...mine is not wired into any other equipment for navigation.
  12. 6'6" Berkely lightning rod medium lews tournament 6:1, 10lb spiderwire stealth braid with 12lb floro leader.
  13. Very Very neat ! Thanks for the post !
  14. Very cool. Perch nice catch !
  15. Great that is one that will never be forgotten!
  16. Keep that up you will find my wall hanger walleye. I know there is a 12 pounder lurking about there somewhere, right know !
  17. Wow very nice !
  18. I fish by myself 90 % of time. So I get it.
  19. Awesome thanks !
  20. Sounds like fun to me!
  21. Yep that sounds about like my experiences after the water goes below 55. They seem to be anywhere they want.
  22. Wow!!
  23. I have caught them all over the water column during the day, after the thermocline is gone. The overcast days and that magic time right before and after dark is a shallow bite for sure. To be honest I still have some pieces of the puzzle missing, after temps go below 50. It seems like when temps are between 55 and 45 or so they go where ever they want. Cover, food, prespawn, and all that??
  24. Slow death hook is just an aberdeen hook with a bend in the shank that makes 1/2 a nightcrawler spin when trolled. I used the eagle claw rotating hooks. Really nice rig! Good luck out there !
  25. Caught this little guy in 42 feet of water saturday. All I can catch is small jacks.
