  1. Yes if you can keep one tied on, I can loose 5 of those a day easy
  2. When the walleye are in that zone they are fun to spoon !
  3. I've caught several walleye in there this time of year as well. The area fits all the criteria for walleye habitat, in my opinion. I even caught them under wake boat traffic, I think it actually turned them on. It was the first weekend after the 4th they were 28ft. I had never fished the area before, my brother and daughter in-law, and I caught 6 with only one keeper over 20.
  4. I've caught some dandies bottom bouncing for walleye
  5. Wow I remember when you bought that, getting out of the guide business ?
  6. I did not know walleye were possible, I wonder where they come in from? I will have to try that. Nice pictures!
  7. I would ask myself to remember the state of mind I was in during all those wonderful catches, I would bet, that you made a good hypothesis about where to fish and how, and then just let the lures fly. Two walleye over 10# in close proximity, and frequency. Very rare, I would bet you tried to reproduce that day to no avail. The journey is as fun as the reward, have a fun hobby, how ever you do it. I have to notice these are all pre live scope catches.
  8. What county are you in?
  9. We have moved which added 30 minutes one way to an hour drive conservatively 3 hour round trip with no stops (that never happens) is just too much for me unless I can leave for 2 days, now more money in. I'm not sure if it's worth it anymore. It kinda sucks but that's life.
  10. Thank you for your words wisdom, but no I was thinking of renting instead of owning. I wonder if I could start "DH Product Testing LLC and just write it all off.๐Ÿค”
  11. I will try not to drag this out too much. I seldom use my boat anymore, I noticed that my personal property tax has went up $100 a year for the past 3 years, even thought we own the same items, which should be depreciating. I have a 2004 tracker deep v dual console, I pay my vehicle taxes in stone county, I did the math, it now costs $110 and change annually to have my old boat set in the yard, and it's going up even though my boat value is going down. By next year it will probably cost more. Then add up keep, you know the things anglers don't speak of. Back to my question does anyone rent fishing boats, with graphs and trolling motors, if so what would the cost be? Now someone will suggest a guide service, I have thought about that too. Here's a fun fact you may not know...you can pay vehicle and water craft taxes in any county in Missouri as long as you have a p.o. box in that county. We used to live in stone county but have not for years, (the rate used to be less in stone co. than jasper where we reside). FYI Shannon county has the lowest rate. I may end up moving my p.o. box there. This tax thing is getting out of hand, of course this is just a small example.
  12. You have to try real hard to trap creek chub, as long as you have this hope in your heart when you set your traps, all you will get is crawdads
  13. On Stockton I started looking for them the first week of February, first full moon to be specific. Some years they were on the bank, some years it was March. I don't know why.
  14. I have a friend who is a guide on tr, lives on kings, he sent me a picture of two one male one female 21" long, caught very near 86 bridge, 2/22/23. Hope that helps. Last year they seemed late, so maybe they are making up for it๐Ÿ˜œ
  15. Oh ok
  16. I am confident in this bait for two reasons, one they catch fish, two they catch everything. You will lose them, they get expensive.
  17. It is common in factories to have to make a copy of the standard operating conditions, or settings, once this piece of paper is developed it becomes a "controlled document" and cannot be stored or copied and stored. Then if someone needs a copy they must go to the data base, this is done so revisions can be made to one master document. Good practice in most factories
  18. I think you inadvertently answered this question. There is much the common man can't answer, when it comes to these things, because we don't know. The more we don't know the easier it is to keep us not knowing ๐Ÿค” It's better that way๐Ÿ˜œ
  19. I don't know jack about fly fishing, this stuff? https://www.amazon.com/Scientific-Anglers-Air-Floating-Lines/dp/B015YP5TOC?th=1 It was too easy to find so it's probably not the right stuff.
  20. I remember at least 4 inches of snow opening morning in about 1998. I shot and 8 point on the other side of indian creek in McDonald Co. I had to wade the creek, I found a spot that was knee deep, then slipped and fell, deer in one hand rifle in the other. Car was 500 yrs away. Yep I remember climate change way back in the 90's๐Ÿค”
  21. Well I have fished a couple 6'6" Berkley lightening rods for about 8 years, I'm on my 3rd reel on one of them. 8 years ago they were $40 I think now maybe $50, they are different now but they might be worth a look.
  22. My wife and daughter have a cleaning business, they are insured and have references, they currently service about 35 clients both commercial and residential. If you need this service either one time before or after an event or would like to become a regular client. Contact : Sandy Hufferd 417 316 0945
  23. Maybe someone could make a rendering of the white river monster, based on it's various descriptions...hint๐Ÿ˜
  24. The water is low, the big fish are chasing shad in the shallows, like a foot of water. Visibility is about a foot and a half. I did see a couple "oh wow" fish swim by did see some green but couldn't tell exactly what they were. I managed to fool one squeaker keeper. It was hard to leave, beautiful day.
  25. I used to hunt rabbit a lot, I will tell you house cats do more damage to the rabbit population, and many others. No one talks about their fluffy killing rabbits, not just the babies either....the cat population around my house is getting pretty thin. Remember a house cat is only tame when you are watching. Oh I forgot to mention I hate cats
