    I bought the Banjo Minnow the minute I saw it. Caught lots of fish on it until the sluggo and fluke came out. I think it was prior to them?? I fished Larry the Lizard T rigged too.

    That used to be a ā€œgo toā€ bait for me. I donā€™t know why I quit using it. I donā€™t largemouth fish much anymore but I did stop using it. I have bags of them in the basement I think. Same with the FrenchšŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

    Went back this morning. NE wind, "cooler"šŸ˜„and clear. Couple dinks and two decent ones on for a few seconds then I quit. Dozens of chasers to the boat. I bet a fly rod bobber rig would do better but I just don't prefer that anymore. Might have to though if the weather doesn't change. Come on clouds and rain!!!

    Yep. Fish early and work the rest of the day. It's 4:30 and I'm heading back over after a cup of coffee. One of the guys at the fish fry caught the fattest rainbow you ever saw. 19 inches but fat as a football.

    Got on the water a little after 5 and done by 9 or so. Lots of stockers and these nicer ones. Including a walleye! Iā€™m headed to a fish fry tonight and Iā€™ll be over there again tomorrow morning. Iā€™ll be down here for 3 weeks or so and Iā€™ll post when I can. Gotta love working remotely.

    Iā€™m telling you that area is a zoo with people in the water, on the bluff, driving boats in and out let off and pick them up. Most in the water are kids. Itā€™s crazy!!! My kids like to jump but I hate going there. After pointing out the potential hazards they are getting less enthusiastic about it.

    KOAM spoke with MSHP Troop D today. According to authorities, they suspected the driver of the pontoon of being intoxicated, however, the alcohol test showed negative for alcohol.

    You are right plus State park and long creek pump out the rentals too. Thatā€™s the diving bluff I think. Iā€™m surprised there arenā€™t more accidents there. Crazy situation if youā€™ve ever been there.
