It’s like a lot of things. If I were starving I would anything. But currently I’m not starving.
I’ve had sushi, sashimi, cerviche, tartare and carpaccio. I just don’t prefer them.
Don't get me wrong. I love my job but I'll retire the instant I can.😁 My wife and I talk about it all the time if not daily. We're both 60 so we are getting very close. If we could get health insurance we would retire today.... It's just too big of a risk without it.
I was thinking about this and it’s possible to get both. I love my job but it took years to get here. I work remotely. Don’t travel. Get 4 weeks of vacation a year and if I loop them in with 3 day weekend holidays it gives me 5 at least. I used to have pictures of all the bridges I’ve supplied piling for but it got to be too many so the end product is cool to me at least. I did the Lewis and Clark viaduct over the Kansas River in KC. Not sure it’s open yet because piling is so early in the process.
i know a few other guys that love their jobs too. Some are in their late 60’s and don’t want to retire because they like it so much.
It’s not a new phenomenon either. But now there are more people using these places so the percentage of pigs stays the same but there are more of them.
