    Take the lure off and walk all the line out preferably in grass. Then reel it back on. Gets all the twist out. I used a fly rod with a spinning reel for years.

    Some VERY unsavory characters there about a month ago when I was there. They got spooked when I came in and looked they were camping and had crap everywhere. Beat up old truck with crap piled in the back. I assumed they got spooked because they were camping but who knows. When you show up at daylight on these river accesses you never know what's going to be there.

    That equates to a 4 hour drive each way for me. So I can't do that all the time. Sometimes you just "try' to make lemonade....
