  1. The north ramp in St Charles had a line up yesterday to put in. No pleasure boats all fishing. Lot was full of trailers too. Thx for the report...
  2. 148K miles and the least trouble of any truck I've owned. I'm afraid to say that and jinx myself so I knocked on wood. It's absolutely loaded and everything still works. Man I hope I didn't jinx myself...
  3. Yep. So is my Ram.....
  4. And on low water I had to go through the slot at the narrows getting dirty looks from all the guides lined up in there. Like it was okay for them to be in there but not my wife and I passing through. We were polite and idled thought but you would have thought we were dropping in below their drift. The only decent one was Brett at Chartered Waters. I know him somewhat and we talked for awhile and he confirmed that the guides thought that was their area. Just a crazy amount of people on Taney the past two years....
  5. On Labor Day?! Say it ain’t so...,
  6. Thread hijacker.😁
  7. Lower Meramec
  8. Can’t blame them for protecting the fishery they love.
  9. Touchdown!!! Way to go.
  10. Went back today even earlier. Yesterday I never made it to where I really wanted to fish so today I went way up there first. On my way up some guy was stalled so I stopped to check on him. He was fine. It was still kind of dark and he was in the main channel but the other side looked fine so I took off between the stumps. NOT! 3rd log has been jumped successfully😂. Yesterday you could catch them at will. Today? Nada. A couple dink smallies and whatever this is. I would call it a goggle eye but @Johnsfolly will have to tell us what it really is. Lots of campers all over the river and they were still quiet when I left. Never saw another boat under power until I got to the ramp. Lots were quad up to put in. Still a fun day on the river. Probably go for a bike ride now.
  11. Wait, what? @joeD is a guide? I didn’t know that.
  12. Better Chance at Winfield dam.
  13. Yep, you dog😁
  14. Cheater😂
  15. I’ve caught em in the Mississippi in winter time. Really wanted a river walleye.
  16. Oh ok. Then good luck for next week.
  17. Bummer. Good luck man.
  18. That’s about right. Do you have a question?
  19. 32.6
  20. Yep sauger. Bummer.
  21. I thought about that too... you just had to rain on my parade😂
  22. Got on the water early. Some on here know the river I frequent but it’s already crowded. Lotta fog and ran to the first shoal. I caught some small spots and smallies and then caught my first river walleye. Not big but hey it’s rare. Had a great day catching lots of small fish to 14” because it was a lot of them. Lost a bunch in the hook set while messing with the boat in current. Spots, smallies, hybrids of the two, largemouth and a Wally. Rafts showed up about 10:30 so I left them biting. I’ll probably go again tomorrow usually on Sunday the rafters have hangovers and they don’t get out as early.
  23. Thx but I don’t have Facebook and somehow I think I’m better without it😁
  24. I’d like to see any pictures you get. North fork of the white would probably be a good area.
