I did that years ago, @fishinwrench. Read 4 different versions. I did it because being raised by a strict Catholic I realized when I got older that none of them read it. They relied more on what the church or the pope told them to do than what was actually in the Bible. For years I lived like what I learned about during the enlightenment period because I had trouble following the church. That the innate goodness of man was what set us apart from animals and kept society running. My wife and a few events in my life changed me and I now believe, but I still do not like churches.... Due to the pandemic.

There used to be a place in South St Louis near our bicycle shop like that, @ness. We hammered those burgers all the time. Even the ones that cock roaches in the paper wrapper. Johnny Rockets Cancun Airport!!!! Of course they might only be good since we were always hung over when when we got there.

My number rule is if they crow about how big the burger is it's a no go for us. Giant food is not better food!

My daughter says some place in rolla called Roadkill Cafe or something like that is good too but I haven't been there.

Oh yes but something about Whiteys and SnS that make me need a fix occasionally. List of good ones we like to hit. Fast Eddies Bonair, Better burger at the Village bar, Smash burger believe it or not, Danas at Tablerock State Park, The Brass Rail in O'Fallon to name a few..... Oh and the sports bar at Ameristar has a darn good one too.
