  1. Pretty cool! Thanks.
  2. Your welcome/no thank you
  3. Those potatoes look great! Can't be Champagne unless it's from Champagne France.
  4. That would be in the ballpark. There is also the vertical driven pile underneath those.
  5. $36 - $42/LF For Standard lengths which those look like 25’ers But it’s a picture. I’m spit ballin the dimensions. H-pile at the mill is .4275 per pound.
  6. Can’t argue the steel cost though.
  7. Engineering and paperwork could be significantly cheaper if you put it out to bid for design build. The contractors shoulder that cost to bid it. You could also save a lot if you bought surplus steel. But if you don't put it to bid, you're not taking advantage of the contractor's sources of material.
  8. The dam at Norfork is easy going if they aren't running water.
  9. I don't have electronics........yet
  10. Is that it???!! I can't tell from the pictures but that H pile they are using runs ~.42/lb. They look like 14x89's so you are looking at 38.00/LF plus freight. Can't be 2,000 feet of it including the ones they used for piling. Looking at less than $100K for the steel I would guess. That timber they are using is cheap compared to steel. I don't provide timber or timber mats but it's not that much. Crane for a day to drive the pile if they used a crane is probably around $8K/day with operator and crew. Maybe two days total. I'm sure that's non union labor but you guys would know labor rates down there better than me. I just noticed the sheet pile bulkhead behind them but it's not very much at all and some of it looks like the original. Maybe $150k in material and crane would be a total guess from a picture. Did they put it out to bid?
