  1. You told me we were friends. Words hurt you know. Pete
  2. There is a "for sale" section. Pete
  3. Caught 6 largemouths all between 15 and 20 inches. Two largest on NED!!! I like the NED, fishes just like a jig. Used 10 lb floro and felt every little tic. Other 4 on plastic worm. None showed any signs of spawning. Fat and fighters. Bluebird day, no wind I didn't get on water till 9AM. One thing I didn't like about NED. The large bluegills tore that thing up. I got tired of them getting it first and switched to 10 inch worm. Hitting it again tomorrow on another lake. Pete
  4. Man I love that! Thanks for posting. Did you eat it? I love blackened redfish. Pete
  5. NED is coming out this weekend. I am finally getting the yacht out to go fishing this weekend. I have my sponsor covered shirt and a new wrap on my 10' pond prowler. I've been practicing my hollers for when I catch one. "Look!!! It's a big ole biggun!! LONG LIVE NED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pete
  6. Only if you are wearing an Orvis vest. Just sayin.
  7. Crickets really work on the gills. This is what I do for cats. Go to one of those islands and beach your boat. Throw Doritos in the water on the down wind side until the water is swarming with little gills. Them sit back and watch the cats come in and feast on the gills. Drop a super fluke in and hang on. My kids love doing this. Pete
  8. Rick!!! You just can't help yourself can you? Shoestring fly kills em. I prefer Nike but any white shoestring works. Pete, the Purist.
  9. Cougar, wolves, snakes, bears, ticks, spiders, snakes........ They are nothing compared to a Chupacabra or worse yet, my ex wife. You run across either of these in the woods at night and you got trouble buddy. Pete BTW, dead armadillo at 364 and Kisker Road.
  10. That rope might not be strong enough to hold that one. Pete
  11. Say it ain't so. The ned threads are my best source of entertainment. Besides, you know, actually "going" fishing. Pete
  12. Classified!!! Don't make me start a ned rig thread. Pete
  13. Pics? Pattern? I have a canister of elk hair "hoppers" I start carrying in June. Just wrap a bunch of elk hair on a hook and fold it over front to back. Add in the preformed legs and It's done. The more beat up it gets, the better they like it. Pete
  14. Stimulator's or any elk hair buggy looking dealio. One day they were cutting the grass at Bennett Spring below the main bridge. A hopper hit the water and a trout blasted it. Toro bite was on!! Pete
  15. Man I wish I could be there for that beat down. Pete
  16. Good base camp for skunks too. Pete
  17. Welcome to the club. I've been a member for 40 plus years. Pete
  18. No real wading opportunities at 40 or any generation really. You could pick around the edges at dry run or the confluence. That's about it. No wading at 80. Norfork is narrow so there really isn't anywhere to go when its generating. Pete
  19. Long live the Ned Rig. SIO3
  20. Nope. Used my old one because that water over there is stanky. Kept the new one for clean, clear saltwater. Thanks to you that is. Pete
  21. Actually the guy who started that action was called "The Plumber". We killed em down there. If they are just getting snagged explain this please. You cast a chartreuse and while clouser in them and never get bit, but the guy next to you throws a blue and white and they hammer it one after another? You switch to blue and white and it's on for you too. I went many times. I posted a report on here a few years ago with pictures. In one day I caught largemouth, whites, hybrids, drum, big head carp, silver carp, common carp, flathead catfish, gar and some kind of huge suckers. All specimens were huge. The water on the other hand was less than desirable to wade in. Pete
  22. What!!!! I just got my 8' Pond Prowler back with it's new glitter wrap. Man, I can't stay ahead of Ned. Pete
  23. Hydrologist Aquastein. Biologist Trout. Nice. Pete
  24. This rail car came into our mill this morning. Long live the Ned!!!!!! Sorry the pic downloaded sideways. Pete
