  1. It was @jdmidwestI think.... I fish alone A LOT and that one sticks with me too.
  2. Heck yeah! Pulling in and seeing nothing is a huge advantage.
  3. Normandie is a handful. I grew up in St ann so we played there a lot. When I hired into GM there was a big group of golfers and they played little 9 holers like St Peters. I took them to Normandie and they complained the whole time and never went back.๐Ÿ˜‚ If you make it through #5 without a lot of bloodshed you'll have a good round. Conditions were terrible. for years without water. Our motto was: Play through May then go away...
  4. The announcers talked about that on the Bassmasters. ๐Ÿ˜‚
  5. And you can't lock out a trout like you can a bass by holding their bottom jaw. I bought some 9" needle nose pliers but still....
  6. I hope it comes around for you. I love to hit balls and that's the only thing I occasionally miss. That and hanging out with the boys. I bought a range pass every year for decades. The other thing that keeps from playing is the pace of play and boom boxes. Unless we were first off the tee in the morning it was always slow play. Even at the private level. I'm there to play golf where it seems the past 20 years people were going to just "get out". Hit it, go git it and pick up your ball for a putt for a double or more.
  7. I'm watching the Classic (which is 4 hours of fishing that @Sethruined for me๐Ÿ˜‚) and more than one guy has said he knew the size of the fish he was looking at. On the last day Christie went back to his "get a limit" honey hole and the fish were gone. And so he left. I think without FFS he might have stayed or at least stayed longer fishing for fish that aren't there anymore. All of them talk about how fish that are in groups bite more often than loners. They definitely have it dialed in.
  8. Back in the early to late 70's a locking gas cap was a necessity.
  9. Iโ€™m watching the classic. Video fishing is the thing. They even know how big they are
  10. I think weโ€™ve already established the fact that she runs you like her little batch๐Ÿ˜‚
  11. Iโ€™ve only played twice since 2016. I got the yips putting. I just couldnโ€™t take anymore. Hit the ball good enough to shoot in the 70โ€™s and 3 putt 10 holes to shoot 87. Actually itโ€™s embarrassing. I have to play in a Ryder cup work deal in may. I dread it. Last year I shot 88 the first day and the second day I putted with 6 iron after the 5th hole and shot 79. At innsbrook.
  12. Bummer! The reason I lock my clubs right after playing is because my home was Forest Park growing up. We're talking late 60's. In 2011 at the Michelob City Championship I finished tied for 6th in the regular men's division when I could have played as a senior. I would've finished 3rd in the senior division. I love that place....
  13. Sux! What golf course? I leave my truck at river accesses while fishing all the time. Some pretty scary characters around sometimes. I feel like leaving it unlocked with a note on the window that says: There is nothing worth anything in here. Door is unlocked for your convenience.
  14. I hit Kevin's fist with my nose on the way home one day. Hard too...๐Ÿ˜‚
  15. What do you call a factory that makes okay products? A satisfactory.
  16. The inventors won the Nobel Prize for it. Hundreds of millions of doses have been given worldwide to humans.
  17. No kidding. My daughter saw a couple fights total in high school and they were big traumatic deals. My wife and I told her there fights every week when we went to high school. I think Richard H kicked my posterior everyday for a week at least. Someone told him I gave home the nickname big fat Dick. ๐Ÿ˜‚
  18. Once there was a king who was only 12โ€ tall. He was a terrible king but he was a great ruler.
  19. Thatโ€™s the problem. Thieves head to nice areas. Better pickings. ๐Ÿ˜•
  20. I would certainly keep an open mind about it.
  21. Ivermectin use was associated with decreased mortality in patients with COVID-19 compared to remdesivir. Here's the study: Peer reviewed. https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S1201971221009887# Dr Campbell breaks it down very well. Including another study on the use of Ivermectin as a prophylaxis.
  22. That is one weird weather dude.... I came across his report recently and I thought it was a joke or parody or something. Then I realized it was the real weatherman. It was like a car wreck. I couldn't look away....๐Ÿ˜‚
  23. I donโ€™t think so. Iโ€™ve known some bad people and you arenโ€™t one of them.
  24. Spoiler! I was going to watch it tomorrow night. ๐Ÿ˜‚
