To wrap it up I didn’t go yesterday. Spent the day on t rock and the pool with the family and had a great time. Ate too much, drank too much and laughed until my stomach hurt. Wouldn’t trade it for any fish. Back in July for another week. Daughter bugged out early. I hope we get that car and all of us back home safely.

Crickets! And what they said. If you’re eating Doritos or cheese it’s just scrunch up a bunch up and throw them in the water and you’ll improve your catch rate. And you’ll enjoy seeing them come up to eat it. Not sure if that’s legal. We do it when we’re out boating but not fishing.

My daughter goes to mo s and t in Rolla, home of the Miners. Not hardly a sports powerhouse. They “used” to have a sweatshirt with the saying “our mascot carries a gun”. Not anymore It was a joke.

Technically this was caught as part of my trip on Friday. Took a PTO day before my week off. I’m clearly not a photographer. 18”er. Not in Taney though.

21” large mouth went a little over 8 pounds on my shitty scale.

Cold and windy so got to cancel the boat day on t rock with the family. Darn😁. caught these odd ball trout today. 15 inch white bass.

Her car started running rough and just started slowing down till she pulled over. It sat for a while until I got up there. Started right up and we drove it to a shop. Never threw a code and they can’t get it to do it again. We’ll just try and get it home I guess.

Got to the ramp at seven, popped the boat in and ran to my go to spots. Took me a while to find them and it took me a while to get up there in the fog. Kinda slow. Had 4 on with big head shakes that got off and caught this 18 incher. Phone rings and rings. Daughter is broke down just south of Springfield. Run back, pack it up, drop off boat and go get her. Drinking a beer and trying to figure out how to deal with that.
