I don’t have power here at the condo so I bought a Jackery Explorer 1000 with solar panels. I plug my onboard charger right into the power station. After a full day on the water it will recharge 2 group 27’s easily. Sometimes only using 50 percent of stored power. I recharge it in my condo but at home I put the solar panels out. You could buy a 1000 watt power station and a couple panels from harbor freight to mount wherever you want and be charging the power station all the time. Then just plug in your boat. You can recharge and plug in for power at the same time. Several guys here saw my setup and bought the same thing. Works great!!! Plenty of YouTube about power stations. In the picture you can see it only took 45% to recharge my batteries from yesterday.

I’ve been watching MLF and the elites today. I love catching em as much as anyone but dang! Head down all hunched over. All day looking at a screen. I do that now for work. No doubt it loads the boat but I don’t know if it’s for me.

I got out early with a plan to hit south facing banks I looked at on Google maps. Water temp was generally 45 everywhere. First bank nothing. Second one nothing. Heading to 3 rd one I saw shad flitter on the surface. Dropped the troller and tried jerks and cranks. My favorite way to fish. Nothing. Went to the little guy. PBnJ. Bam I’m hooked up! I caught several going down the bank in I assume 8-10’ of water. I don’t even have a depth finder. I guess I got away from them so went back to where I started. Dirt zinkerz on 1/8 ounce @Jadesjigs jig head. Bam on again! Thanks @Dutchand @Quillback! Water temp was 51 when I left. Caught 8 all around 14-16 inches. Fun morning. Saw around 20 boats. All way offshore and all head down TV fishing except two guys sitting on a brush pile I assume crappie fishing.

You made fun of my soft hands a few years ago when I was showing off my snowball bush blooms. Still stings thinking about it today…..😆

I’ve caught a handful the past few years on cranks. I never really thought about keeping one to eat.

I change my every other year like @fishinwrench recommended. Duracell from battery plus were on sale and shot craps before two years. Everstart at Walmart was fine and good price. Last set is pro guide caught on sale. Doing great.
