That has not been my experience on river ramps. I literally had to back my trailer into a guys a lawn chair last year to get him to move. And trust me, his companion was unpleasant to look at.

A couple weeks ago I came back to the ramp and a guy was starting to change out his trailer bunks. I would’ve liked to leave but I waited a half hour for him to finish. It’s a river ramp so no way around him and I didn’t want him to move the whole show. He was quick and polite. Better than others I’ve encountered.

Went out on the lower yesterday and today. Water temp yesterday was 44 and the river has been dropping steadily since the last rain. Left the house early and it was 26 degrees with heavy frost. When I finished ti was 46. Kind of windy but not bad at all. Did a lot of looking before I threw a bait and the third eddy was on. Nice foam whirlpool and they were stacked in it. Caught a bunch of small spots, several large crappie and lost two good smallies at the boat fiddling with the net. I hate treble hooks. Most were caught on a tube and the smallies ate a stick bait. Went back today and hoped I would whack em. NOT! the river dropped so much the whirlpool was gone and I couldn't find fish anywhere. Packed it in and went home. Boat ran great! No people out! Saw two bald eagles.

They shoot off a couple here in the subdivision every year. Whoa!!!

No above ground pools with green water and mold on the outside. no chain link fences. We can have a badminton net up out back and we can have trailers and work vehicles for 2 days and if you need more just do it and take the warning. My subdivision is as close to apartment living without being an apartment or condo. I grew up in the burbs so it's what I'm used to I guess. And I'm a central air conditioning baby. I've never lived with out it.

Not many places in the burbs without an HOA. It does keep the hood up to snuff so when you want sell your neighbors dump doesn't drag down prices. I've always lived in a subdivision with one.

I don’t have a county restriction. I do have a job though with a meeting till 10. By the time I drive down there won’t be much of the day left. I’m going to A job site today. Using 3’ diameter pipe for a utility tunnel. Oughta be cool. Have fun, take pictures. I’ll be fishing tomorrow somewhere.
