Yep. It really helps to stay on a spot and hammer them. That combined with watching MLF and seeing those guys return to spots that they caught fish on earlier has really paid off for me. Those guys go back over and over and keep catching fish. Before that I would run around and look for similar structure or whatever but rarely would I go back and fish the same spot again. Especially largemouth fishing since I didn't consider them schooling fish. But let me tell you I go back over those areas a lot now and it really pays off. I always went back over trout and smallie water since I consider them schooling fish.
The low areas around Dardenne Creek are empty yesterday. They were covered in birds last week. Lake St Louis is the same way. Not a bird in sight when last week they were rafts of them all over it. The clubs (Busch Family) north of St Peters were pumping water over the weekend but not a bird to be seen.
Yes I have. I've also used the continuous power feature or whatever they call it. I mostly fish rivers and it's even better in current. It won't hold on 6 units on the White but everything else it's absolutely fantastic. Catch a fish, hit spotlock and you don't keep drifting down river.
Put eggs in cold water, bring to boil then turn off stove, cover with lid for 13 minutes then in ice bath. I eat two every morning. Never have green yolks.
