    I fish a private lake up here and the green orange is the ticket. A fish spit this out a couple years ago to help explain why it’s so good on that lake.

    Chartreuse/white clouser is the first thing I throw. Blue/white, brown/white and even a straight purple one.

    I can see that. Between those two readings the river was flooded for a couple months. That's why I look at both and keep them in my notes. Especially if I haven't been in a while and I take off in low light.

    Just to clarify: I fly fish, dunk bait, grab, shoot em with a bow or any other form of sport there is for fishing. I grew up in a strict fly fishing household but I never bought into that to my dad's dismay.

    Not buy much. All my buddies fly fish on our annual trip to the White. But my oldest friend decided he was going to bait fish and drink a few beers and relax. He breaks out a worm box that goes on your belt like holster. We couldn't stop laughing. I still bring it today and that was 25 years ago.
