  1. Pat is correct about past stockings. BTW, no trout are going to Busch this year..
  2. Yeah Eric. Let me know when you plan to be in town and I'll see what's up. Back when trailhead opened the old town district was just getting going and there wasn't a lot to chose from. We were waiting at the door the first day they opened.
  3. Hey Eric, Harbor Freight or Northern Tool maybe? Always Craigslist too. Pete
  4. That's pretty cool. I wish they would allow me to bring my Pond Prowler out there. Especially after they cut out boats for the winter. Pete

Sweet....I have a few spots on the Missouri River we can hit in my Sea Ark but more on the Mississippi. ...I would like to bring the lower g rod and when they are going nuts try to nail one with the fly rod.....I have a 9wt Sage that would probably  work???

Yep.  I caught that on a 9 weight Loomis and chartreuse and white clouser.  I caught one substantially bigger than that but I carelessly let it go without even a picture.  Later my buddy looked up the record and I might have beat it.

  11. I'll gladly share my spring honey hole. I haven't hit in a couple years.

  17. Cool! I went to Myrtle Grove a bunch of times but always in the spring.
  18. I love it. Where did you access the marsh?
  19. Might be a little muddy downstream for a while.
  20. Go ahead and laugh. Officially, bull sharks have made it up the Mississippi as far as Illinois. In the town of Alton, Illinois, which is above St. Louis, two commercial fisherman caught a bull shark in the river. This shark had been raiding their fish traps, and they decided to catch the culprit once and for all. They set a big trap, one that would catch the biggest muskellunge or pike. They were certainly shocked to find that it was a shark raiding their traps
