I disagree about cc ramp being "Not steep" I would steer clear with a 2wd ranger oghfm may be in the bushes looking for YouTube gold 🤣🤣🤣 as for crappie I'm no help their to ya someone will pipe in I'm sure though best I can say is brush piles with minnows will get you bit from what conservation page says this years class of crappie aren't huge at stockton

Sounds like u got your trailer hit by a weekend warrior bunch of people that have no real life experience backimg trailers up makes for a bad time of got back to my truck last year and had a baseball sized dent in my driverside bedside looked like someone slugged it with all they had I always had it in my mind that maby it broke their hand🤣🤣🤣 best i can say is hit it during the week when bozo and ronald McDonald are at work lol
-
Nice eye al Nancy and Dan I enjoy reading your post I fish stockton as much as the rock if not more iv seen alot of your post on stockton forum the one thing I will say about the eyes is I personally believe table rock has a bigger class of eyes to b had but fewer and farther between it seemes like whenever I get one on the rock it's 20"+ while iv had days at stockton of 20 walleye plus but all short fish i watched my wife catch 9 of them about a month ago in an hour time frame and not a single keeper with that said I have pulled some hogs out of stockton also just not as many super fat ones like the rock imo

Dodging tubers, and jumping wake?lol i just love it when my boat motor comes out of the water because of the swells also nothing like violently rocking side to side while you try to fish and not get ran over

I know i am probably Going get beat up here on this but I am not a fan of braid the only thing I use it for Is the Alabama rig but iv got 85lb braid on a 8' magnum heavy cranking stick (never have lost a rig for the record lol) with a shimanno baitcaster all my other baitcaster I run flurocarbon on i absolutely love fluro i personally never have problems with line stretch on hook sets i just hammer it if it's out a long distance on spinning gear i run mono because the fluro has a tendency to twist up on my i don't know the reason but I know mono dosent do that as far as stopping mid cast I'd guess that has something to do with line tightness on spoll or just need to play with breaks and mags of I was guessing hope this helps and on the rock I guess personally i don't see a need for 40lb+ braid with the exception of the a rig

Google maps recent satellite update is from when the water was really low so you should b able to find what your looking for easy and if you fishing cape fair and wanting to get into pea gravel launch in shell knob at campbel point or. Big bay if you keep your fishing early morning or late day and focus on weekdays you will b able to dodge most of the pleasure terds 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😅
-
Dutch you are correct in thinking they are deep I was up a few days ago and I caught maby 18 fish I never really keep much count but only about 3 came shallow as it was getting dark out of 18 fish had 4 solid keepers most of the fish came suspended in 35-50 fow I threw quite a few things at them but the key was to go just slightly bigger than what they were chasing just big enough to stand out from the rest of the shad

Nice walleye dan I know you chase them at stockton, table rock has some nice ones in it for sure I pulled a 20" one out last time I was on the water in shell knob. How was the pleasure boat traffic iv got 3 small kids and fish with them when wife's at work so when the partiers are out playing😔 we stay home for the kids saftey -
I'd just make sure if u have kids in the boat to wear your life jackets people and their "water sports" are stupid and have no care for others plus the guys that are out running the party boats are doing just that partying which makes it very unsafe conditions I will skip fishing this weekend and wait till Tuesday or Wednesday next week to get back on the water imo no it's not worth fighting the ski boats for bank space
-
I hit campbell point Tuesday and Sunday after church last week 3 hr trip each time did well for time on the water about what champ said a fish every 15 to 30 minutes and caught on varmint blades and a deep Norman most fish came from flooded timber but a few were on the original bank this weekend will b a funny farm fishing won't b a fun option but watching people jackknife their boat trailers and generally dumb up the ramps/parking lot launch will b comical

I hate paying taxes on anything lmao the government gets plenty of money I'd write down it's worth a hog 2 bass and a baby duck see what they tax ya on that
-
This is funny I don't care who you are I'd like to see that soccer ball with all the needs glued to it getting slung around the water it could b called a titty ball
-
Wildbill the ramp is also very steep so if your going to use b prepared for that fyi
-
I love me some bleached stagnate fish only thing makes those taste better is stale chips molded bread and wilted veggies mmmmmmm
-
It's getting ready b the time of year when their are lot of people who don't have much of a clue how to launch a boat let alone back their trailer up fast all I can say is keep your phone ready to record you never know when u might catch a 50k YouTube video (sunk truck/sunk boat/engine fire resulting in both)
-
I'm totally for packing a pistol I have a ccw permit and I don't leave home without a gun on my side I have 3 kids and it'll b over my dead body that someone harms them their are absolutely a world full of people that have 0 brains and willing to do harm to people for no reason if if got it pack it is my motto right or wrong don't come around my boat meaning harm ?

Iv never had bad problems with insurance companys not wanting to pay for ligit issues that are under said policy and just food for thought I spend a few thousand dollars a month on insurances ie:work comp, general liability, car, house ect, full coverage boat insurance is the cheapest thing I've ever had to pay
