  1. Thanks for report and pics, glad you made it out.
  2. Just they're style and look, I used to throw tubes alot and the Yum works the same way.
  3. Got all kinds, but the main one I like is from Yum, not sure the specific name but they're basically a crawdad shaped tube.
  4. Thanks Mitch, I've actually got enough for a lifetime, just don't throw them as much as I used to. I'm going to try to use them more often, I've gotten away from the crawdad, tube, Texas rig worm, c-rig lizard and split shot centipede as my "go to" stuff, I just have to remember that stuff still works.
  5. Got out for about 1.5 hrs this evening in Owl Creek, mainly wanting to try another livewell pump but also to fish. Not sure what WT was because fish finder wouldn't stay on but clarity was worse than it was Sunday, maybe 2' . Caught 10, took 3 home, all caught on a 3" black and pearl Cane Thumper swim bait with Blakemore "Casey" pearl colored head, would troll about 30yds past dock, staying 30yds out and cast to dock maybe count to 3 or 5 and start retrieve. One of the keepers had a fresh crawdad in it, which reminded me that a plastic crawdad is something I used to toss around alot and have gotten away from, I need it back on my "go to"list. Keep at 'em.
  6. Thanks Dan, good stuff
  7. Thanks for reporting, glad you made it out.
  8. Thanks for reporting and pics.
  9. Very cool chi, couple of beauties.
  10. Thanks Nitro, good info.
  11. That sounds great champ, thanks for report and pics. Glad you got out there on such a great day.
  12. Put in an "attwood tsunami" to replace my old "rule", both rated at 500gph but new one won't make it to livewell. Its approximately 2' of head, same as before, i've put hose up, down, every possible way and finally got tired of not knowing what was happening i put on a clear tube and can see water is getting to about 2" from elbow and stopping. Funny thing is that if I quickly remove hose from pump, water squirts out, and then quickly replace hose it will start working fine. Any thoughts? Again, hose has been I'm every direction.
  13. Man that looks like a good time, thanks for report!
  14. Thanks for report Nitro, that's great info.
  15. I'd do it for sure, but will be out of town,?. Nice of you to offer a seat.
  16. Nice of you to do that ketchup, I'll add not to bother trying Emarld Beach, both full of debris.
  17. Glad your getting out there, I just went to my 2 closest ramps and debris has me out of the game(waters way more stained down toward Emarld Beach). Thanks for report and pic.
  18. Great time Joe, thanks for report. I reported some dock end activity, but didn't have time to dial them in like you did, thanks.
  19. Dang it, hope your friend gets missed
  20. Glad you got out there, nice report and pics.
  21. Sorry cheese, I was in point 25, owl Creek area.
  22. ,,,,fishing trip that is. Went last night for an hour, as usual not enough time for a great pattern to show but I started around the dock next to ramp with a square bill Rapala in Sunfish color and picked up 2 small K's. Moved out toward main lake and started fishing a favorite cove with a senko, caught 1 LM, and 3 more K's. The first 2 at the dock were small, but the last 4 were all just at keeper size. I was surprised to see the water as clear as 3' to 4' visibility, wt was a solid 67. I knew I better get out before the tsunami, everybody be safe through this storm.
  23. Good job Dan, like the pics.
  24. Great report and pics Ben, it's a lot of fun when you catch them chasing shad like that!
