I have looked and cannot seem to find the info I am looking for.
So the question is. Do you or are you suppose to wear your life jacket when the big motor is running and in gear moving. Is there a regulation or law with regards to this.
Looking for what are the best baits to use up by the ferry area, for bass and crappies, the middle to end of October. And possible areas to target, shallow mid-range 8 to 12', channel bends, backs of coves, main lake flats, etc.
Thanks
Canned 14 pints of bread and butter pickles today. 7 regular, 4 with Habanero's, and 3 with Jalapeno's and Red Pepper.
Now all I have to do is wait about 3 months and they all should be ready.
Probably going to make some Chow Chow next week-end.
gotmuddy, I know you have been to the great state of Texas, if you know about HEB stores. There is no other Grocery store that I am aware of that even comes close to them or their prices. I tell the stores up here in St. Louis area they would be out of business if HEB ever moved into this state.
For those of you in need of tires. I found out yesterday that Discount Tire stores are now opened and opening in St Louis and other Missouri Area's. They are a Great place to do business with. I have been doing business with them in Texas for 30 years now and never been disappointed. Went in yesterday with a appointment at the South County Store. They had my 6 tires broke down and back on the rims, balance and on the truck in 45 minutes. I have a 2012 Dodge Ram 3500 Dually. I am so glad that this National Chain has expanded here in Missouri.
Those suckers my Grand Dad always called them Hog Molly's. And we always caught a bunch of them on our 1 week annual camping trip in the summer, on the Current River. Boy I still remember those days. Grand Dad would get the fire re-started in the morning. Bacon and eggs in the iron skillet, and home made Bisquit's in the dutchoven iron kettle. Then sandwiches for lunch and fried fish, tators or french fry's or home made hushpuppies with lots of Jalapeno's chopped up in them, and a bowl of fresh fruit all cut up. Boy those were the days.
I was reading a article the other day and cannot seem to find it again. So my question is. Does Missouri dept of conservation have a rule/law on throwing back dead fish into the lake after caught and put into a livewell. And if so where may I find it? The article had stated that some states and I believe it said Missouri had one.
Thanks Folks.
If I remember right. This was a really good boat in that year. They were wanting to put me in one back then, but I went with Skeeter sponsored instead. Only due to the deal I struck. If I was looking for one, I would have to go and look at it for sure.
Went to Porters Fried Chicken yesterday, while we were out buying a very lightly used Troy Bilt 2410 Snow Blower in Webster Groves. Was really good food and made fresh. Gizzards and Livers done perfect, as was the chicken. mashed potatoes and gravy-good, coleslaw good. Mom and Pop shop. Not a lot of seating for a diner, which we ate inside. But they do one heck of a carry-out business for sure. And now I know why. Yum Yum.
