  1. Just an FYI. I'm sure this won't stay up long before the admin pulls it down. The last post i made on this forum was a parody of sorts. I wanted to get a message to someone.. for his own good and admittedly also for my own self serving interests. Earlier Today, I received a phone call from the anonymous individual i based the story on to confront me about it. Now mind you, i never named the individual and I never used my name, but the individual (who again wasn't named) was given my real name and information by Phil Lilley. I'm currently researching the legality of this act to see what recourse i have. There definitely seems to be a legal precedent for the act, but in the meantime a word to the wise... The admin will disclose your confidential personal information to another individual if asked. I feel it's definitely an invasion of my privacy and an ethically questionable act by the owner of this forum. It kind of scares me to think what would happen in a scenario where the individual was unhinged and capable of inflicting personal harm upon me or my family. This was without a warrant, without a personal threat, without the individual even being named. The person i based the story upon recognized himself as the main character in the story and by his own account for nothing more than an ask, Phil told him who i was. Go forth at your own risk.
  2. I need me a job like the billetheaf so I could just go fishing every day. Lol. Nice goin
  3. We absolutely smoked the big ol pale slab mommas on Saturday evening. Found them outside of the bushes in 3-4’ water. 2 limits in 2hrs. Many of them was over 14”. 1 male in the bunch. Best limit I’ve seen in a few years. Spider rigging withe the swivels at the surface. That’s. A fact. Jack!
  4. Hey MoCarp, i can tell you’re legit from the truth bombs you keep dropping on these fools. Don’t let these posers and wannabes get you down. You’ve got serious cred from all the cool fishing photos you post in my book so Keep on keepin on bro. We’re lucky to have someone other than a bunch mouth breathing Harry and Charlie wannabes touting there secret spinnerbaits and motor oil jelly worms. they probably all wear cutoff nut huggers with their berkly trilene trucker hats and vests with patches like some kind of Girl Scout fishing team
  5. I used to live the fast life of a blue cat filet runner until I saw the err of my ways. I had it all at one point. Big trucks with freezers in the sleeper shell, fast women, famous friends in local politics, you name it. always one step ahead of the law and the snitches, but at the end of the day you just can’t get the smell of fish off your hands. It all came crashing down for me Christmas Eve 1987 when the dept of fish and game kicked my door in and drug me off on front of my two boys. Maverick and Montana are still a little messed up about it. I swore off it and haven’t slung one ounce of blue cat since but I’d be lying if I didn’t admit the temptation really pulls at me sometimes. Say what you want. If it wasn’t for the city folks endless desire for fried and blackened catfish there wouldn’t be a market to sell in to.
  6. Im one 1/2 Native American Cherokee Indian and i think your ideas about private property are funny.
  7. What kind of dogs you runnin? I raise a few pit bull/catahoula cross hog dogs for fun. I take them to the creek with me and the OL in the summer. The male always rides with me in the jet boat but the bitches prefer to ride in the canoes and kayaks with the wife and kids.
  8. I don’t know about that! My wife gets plum crazy when were out n way from the house and kids. Got us tossed out of two campgrounds in the middle of the night so far. She is lousy company but I love her but that’s because she’s smoking hot and gives good back rubs.
  9. Hey oneshot, any idea where me and the wife might want to spend a long weekend up there on the Niangua? We been wantin to get out of town and try something new.
  10. This time of year I like to go down to crane creek and nail some biggins. A nice 18”er from there eats just like a salmon.
  11. I don’t eat em. I just like to shoot them. I cook some for the dog and I gift the rest to my mother in law. Or maybe I cook some for mother in law and gift some to the dog. I get them confused and Can’t remember which way it went
  12. Gavin your welcome to come down and bust some ducks with me and my crew. We usually shoot them up pretty good. We smoked them pretty good when it was cold enough to make the lake good
  13. Hey yeah i hear ya fellas but seeing as how this will be #4 i think i better do like she says. fishinwrench my old running buddy TJ stuffed them for me to trade for one of my dogs he wanted.
