Well I had the worst fish catching 4 days of my life but had an absolute wonderful time. This place is beautiful beyond belief. I finally found a few fish today and ended up with 7 spots. I stayed deep with jig, c-rig, and Ned rig. Got away from the bank after the first day. Would love to come back one day don’t know when that will happen. Would prefer to come at time with a little less recreational boat traffic. I bet this place can be good in sept-oct plus the leaves will be changing and adding to the beauty. Thank you fellas so much for your help. If not for y’all i’d a been my ole south ms bank beater the whole trip and not caught nothing. Did not get my small mouth I wanted but o well i’m Not going home with any regrets.

Fished till ten tonight my buddy that’s with me caught a 17” smally late this afternoon I’m bout 12 hrs fishing and 1 fish in the bout.we got to more days no giving up. Thanks for all yalls help and you guys got an exceptionally beautiful fishery wish I had time to see it all

Well I’m here. I through everything in the boat at em this morning for six hrs. Not a bit. Saw some fish busting up at day lite but could not get em to hit. I’m finding what I would think is about the right bottom structure and marking a lot of fish but nothing. Gonna try again in the afternoon. This south ms boy is way out of his element here. This is a whole new ballgame. I will say I downsized my bait cause all the bait I saw was tiny. I also leaned more toward light or translucent lure.

hi folks, im jamey from ms. . i got a cabin for four days at table rock next week. i've never caught a small mouth or a walleye and its a bucketlist deal ive always wanted to do. ive never seen the lake know nothing about it. been studying the online maps a little. im mainly a finesse guy. do a lot of dropshotting, shacky head and wacky rig stuff but i got the tools to do just about anything. just looking for advise on what to bring and relative depth fish are right now. my boat is equipped with helix 10 si at bow and helm. any advise is appreciated. thanks.
