Black and yellow 1/100th jig under a float at the horn. When things get slow, move to a cream thread jig then to an olive or brown roach.

Glad to hear Jacks is on the mend. We had a lab that had an eye removed. The worst part for her(and my shins) was the cone of shame. A month or two later she was completely blind from glaucoma caused by her 'betes. She ran this house and yard, 3 sets of stairs, jumping on the bed, everything, like nothing had changed. I was amazed. I miss that pooch. Give Jackson a head scruffing for me.

When did that discussion start? As you stated, they are hatchery fish. Hatchery fish eat eggs and jigs whether you consider them flies or not. It's a pond in a suburban area, not Montana.

Eggs, cream colored thread jigs, black/yellow and olive jigs, olive woolies. If you don't get a strike in 5 or 10 minutes switch.
