As a long time longbow shooter, who has opposed crossbows for years, once again in life I am forced to eat my words. Due to recent events I will be unable to shoot my shotgun for spring turkey season, and pulling my longbow.....hopefully at some point in the future. So.... started looking at Crossbows and asking questions.... the price range is unbelievable. One guy says this is what I want:

I read on a forum that this has the same specs only difference is a carbon rail and a place to store the crank:

both are terrible expensive, but I need some easy cocking device......but quality often costs. Both bows are made by Ten point who I understand now owns Horton.Maybe I just need to take up flea market shopping or ????
