Last Thursday I had the pleasure of cooking 172 steaks for a customer appreciation event. Tonight I had to do some for the family.

I've been using only my kettle for awhile now. I wrap sometimes but haven't finished in the oven lately. No temp gauge except for the old cheap meat thermometer. You have to stay on top of it but that's the fun part of it for me.

I know you can get an accessory that will do that.

My biggest smallmouth came out of Table Rock on a spinnerbait. The big ones like them. It was a white 3/8 Stanley Wedge.

Probably because you haven't given it nearly the opportunity you have the War Eagle. A good spinnerbait will produce. My ignorant hang up on the War Eagles is the head. I've always had this hangup with the heads on spinnerbaits and it really makes no sense.

Wait for summer. Especially if you want to strictly wade. Lots of good places to wade in SW MO but you aren’t going to get folks to tell you out in the open.

Just keep hitting the redial button until it said zero generation, then jump in the car and make the 45 minute drive down to find 4 units going. Used to drive me crazy.
