Sausage is really good like that. My wife can’t stand the smell, she’s a weirdo, so I have been cooking it outside for years. I also do like you and pack in one person quantities and freeze. Makes everything so simple and it tastes so much better!

I’m very sorry Phil. I love dogs. I can’t think of better friends than several of the pups I’ve spent part of my life with. It has always been tough losing any of them. If I had to do it all over again I would. The current meathead is a huge pain in the behind but when I look in her eyes I know that we have a very special connection. I’ll always have a dog. Just have to. RIP Jackson. I only saw you in pictures and videos but it looked like you had an amazing life.

When I was a lot younger, I was fishing with my dad on Table Rock when we got checked. My dad had a current license for Kansas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Texas, Alabama, and Mexico. There was one more, mabe Kentucky, can't remember. But he did not have a current Missouri license. It was obvious that it just splipped his mind. He got a ticket.

Every evening, out in front of the lodge on Lake El Cuchillo, there were guys wading out in the water using nothing but cans with fishing line wrapped around them. Those guys caught a lot of fish.

Headed out to the Little Sac this morning to check the water, try a little fishing, and play with a new video camera. I was headed around the bend just down below the old steel bridge. As I was leaving my vehicle I passed a fisherman that seemed to be in a hurry. He didn’t say anything. I headed towards the water and just as I was getting to spot to cast I look up and see the agent. Well fudge, yep that’s what I said. Fudge. It was at that moment that I hoped I had auto renewal on for my license that expired yesterday. Luckily he was able to look it up for me and let me know that I did not have a current license. I was immediately on my phone working on a renewal. As I was doing that we had a nice little conversation and he wished me a good day and moved on. It took me a few minutes to complete my transaction and then I went fishing. And as he predicted, I caught nothing. Nice to see someone patrolling that area. Gets a bit sketchy this time of year.

Both really. Both are heavy and awkward to get up on the SUV. Might be the year for a small trailer.

My kayak seat is the short back version of that one. Not a bad seat at all. I'm, however, not a fan of my kayak anymore. I would much rather float in my canoe. Just wish it wasn’t such a pain to haul around.
