Depends on when and where? Time of year? water temps? type of water? Lake, river, pond? Largemouth or smallmouth? Too many variables. Just like if you asked a tournament bass fisherman or if you asked a full blown trout fisherman, there is no one answer. I probably catch the most on a gurgler. But that doesn't necessarily make it the best it's just what I throw a lot. The simple answer; fish with something that resembles what they are eating at that time.

If you are quiet and go around midnight you can have a lot of fun. That's what I've heard anyway.

But that's not the same as a pond. Fun but not the same. Unfortunately the leaders of Springfield would like to confine all fishing activities to the few areas that are open. There are some beautiful ponds around town with some nice fish but the vast majority are closed to fishing.

But they glorify teenage pregnancy on MTV! And voting is a scam. If this country really wants to send a message to our government then nobody should vote. That might be enough to scare them into understanding who should be in charge of this country. I voted for a long time. I thought it was my duty as an American. But the problem is that you spend a lot of time trying to understand the issues and people you are voting for and then once they are in office they do whatever they please. Or whatever secures the most votes next time or pads their finances. It's a scam that I will not be part of in the future. Just look at the amount of money they make for THE REST OF THEIR LIVES! How is that right? Meanwhile we have folks struggling to find a job with a decent wage. Struggling to make ends meet. While the price of everything continues to rise. Padding those pockets of the Royal Government. It's sickening.

I understand that. Used to drive me crazy too. Now I don't mind it as long as they are polite. But the last few times have been the same guy at the same place and he's usually too busy to hang around.

I love how this country jumps all over any public figure when they pull a bonehead move. Please don't take me as a Goodell backer, I don't care about him at all. LOL. Could be but I know my buddy pretty well. I just don't think there is any reason to throw rocks at anyone and then when things get tough you hide behind a weapon. A fishing spot is no reason for an butt whoopin or gun fight.

Me too. Part of the problem, not part of the solution. I have a buddy that wouldn't take so kindly to any of that and you would be dead before you could ever pull your gun Barney. Some times you just need to let it go. Of course he wouldn't purposely invade your space either.
