Thanks ness.

I've caught everything on that stupid thing. Everything from a 13 inch crappie to redfish along the coast. It's a great fly. That yellow one at the top is stealing it's spot though.

Things are out of control. A simple popper would fish as well as any of these but I can't waste hours upon hours in the garage making simple poppers. What fun would that be.

And Then The Party Was Over
Flysmallie replied to snagged in outlet 3's topic in Upper Lake Taneycomo
Used to be a guy that ran his jet ski up the James to fish. Probably a better option than a jet boat on a lot of these rivers. -

Thanks.

RPS I hope you are still being patient with me. Had to wait on air brush parts. Been so long I have to get new paint tomorrow. And after a third trip to the fly shop we will be good to go. I’ll have all I can in the mail on Monday. Good thing I’ve been slow because I ran across the popper heads I was looking for today at Bass Pro. Then this happened. I think those pond bass will be very fond of it.

Yep, that’s the one. The supposed new state record.

Did anyone see the one that was caught out of the Gasconade recently?

Columbia Bans C&R Sportfishing
Flysmallie replied to FishnDave's topic in General Angling Discussion
You can't fix stupid. -
That would help the walleye. A lot of them get caught by people fishing for whites. And you can bet they are going to keep it. No matter how many fish they already have. Can’t close the season on bass because that’s a very profitable time of year.

Nice job Marty! I have to grab some hooks tomorrow and then I can finish up my stuff and get it in the mail. Looks like Marty has subsurface covered, which is great because I’ve got the top covered like a mutha. You know, I really thought I had this bass stuff all simplified. I was wrong. Obviously I have some serious issues about topwater flies. None of my ideas make any sense but I can’t stop. Now where are my air brushes ……..

Men's spring camp out and fishing trip done for 2022...
Flysmallie replied to Steve McBasser's topic in Table Rock Lake
I searched on YouTube and all I can say is that NOW I know why everybody hates anyone doing a fishing video. I never watch them because the ones I do see on TV are horrible. But there is so much more horriblenous (new word) on YT. Yuck. -
You gotta quit smoking crack. Plenty of good jobs out there and plenty of good kids coming out of high school, trade schools, and college. You guys one to find one or two idiots and call it the norm. YOU are part of the problem.

I bet they were tasty with a cold beer. Nice job @Steve McBasser! -
It's probably neither. My people are constantly treated like crap by their customers. Not everyone acts like the upstanding folks in Gravois Mills. Some people are downright disrespectable because of their own stupidity. I had a customer tell one of my store managers that they were going to punch them in the face if they didn't get their way. That was a full grownass man telling that to a 58 year old lady. She was right, he was wrong, everyone knew that, so he's going to punch her in the face? Then he got real stupid and called me to complain that she refused to sell him anything. I don't think I have ever told anyone to pound sand but if it involves a whole lot of f bombs then that is probably the conversation we had.

My suggestion would be to send me you mailing address and then wait patiently by the mailbox. I can get some stuff together in the next week or so and get it in the mail. I'll make sure it's all stuff that won't stress that 6 wt too much and make it fairly easy to cast. I also include some gurglers since I'm the only one that ties them correctly. 😁

Nice job Phil.

It's tough to find any employees out there right now. I have open positions in 3 states. You can't even find people to apply for jobs. If you think securing staffing is easy right now I encourage you to give it a shot.

You mean the have jobs and the have not jobs. The have have nots need to take their lazy selves to work and they won't be so desperate.
