See this is the problem that we have in this world. Everybody has got to have the tough guy attitude. All electric cars are not a Prius. You can buy some that will blow the doors off anything Dodge could ever produce. Electric has more power potential than a internal combustion engine. I don't care for the politics you are trying to throw into it, I'm into it because all the way around electric could be a much better option. But that's where my background is so I don't expect you to understand. And before you start making jokes about guys with fuggly girlfriends remember that at least they have one.

Why are you in such a hurry? There are planes if you really need to be there quickly. You can charge a Tesla in a little over an hour. That's with current technology! There are plenty of charging stations spread across the country. Stop to pee, plug in. Stop to eat, plug in. Stop to stretch legs, plug in. Stop to look at the largest ball of twine, plug in. It's possible. And again that's today. But if you must be tough guy then why drive one of those turds? A vette? Really? Maybe to buzz around town. But if I'm going on a road trip I think something of more comfort would be required.

Maybe a few caught with other species. But I bet there are a bunch that will. Tons of people out there keeping everything legal. Should be easy to catch a quick limit for awhile if so inclined.

Electric cars are way more intelligent for a lot of reasons. Sure there are some hurdles now but the only way to make it viable is to embrace it. Unfortunately those that stand to lose because they refuse to change have deep pockets and spread the ignorance.

So last Sunday I'm sitting in a rental outside my hotel in Ontario, CA. It was 3pm and I had nowhere to be until 10am the next morning. I put Malibu into the GPS and just went from there. 221 miles through a place I did't belong. On Tuesday I was coming back from a couple of days in the high desert and came across this.
