  1. Well I have no idea since I haven't been but I'm starting to think that I might be sick after lunch on Thursday.
  2. Just figured out that the security settings of my hosting site were not allowing the pictures to show. I think I have that fixed.
  3. $20 non-motorized boat permit at Fellows, Springfield Lake is free.
  4. Interesting information there TRRANGER. Did it say how they tracked those fish? I'm not doubting you or them at all just curious. I'm also not that concerned about fish relocating. It's been going on for years and to say that a bass get's moved it all of a sudden doesn't know where to get food is kind of a long shot. I mean you can take me out of my city and drop me in another city pretty much anywhere in the world and I bet I can find a place to get some food. And a new place to sleep. But I do know that the point at KC usually holds a lot of quality fish.
  5. Possible because there isn't a thing they can do about it. Too much money involved to make any change.
  6. Why is it okay for this to happen in a tournament but when a guy takes a limit home to enjoy tournament guys lose their freaking mind? I know. Shooting squirrels takes a lot more skill. And you obviously haven't been paying attention to kayak tournaments.
  7. When you take a photo there is a lot of data that is stamped. Date/Time/Location. That data is very difficult to fudge, especially out on the water.
  8. Maybe it never happened in the tournaments you fished but I know of three times that it happened with tournaments that I was in. And I’ve r ad about many more. The worst thing is when the tournament director refuses to do anything about it or worse lies to cover it up because that’s easier than dealing with it. At least with the format the kayak guys are using it would be more difficult if not impossible.
  9. They will cheat every chance they get. I’m not saying they all cheat but there are some bad apples out there and there is more going on than we can imagine.
  10. That sucks. I would have never figured it was that hard to get into. I've had opportunities almost every year for the past 15 years to attend and have refused every year. Most of them would have been as a host to one of our better customers for the weekend but I'm just not into golf. Same thing for the Kentucky Derby and I haven't been there either. Much rather spend my time doing something else.
  11. It's been a while but I'm very partial to the stretch from Gilbert to Maumee.
  12. I've been growing into it. I always stay up late but now days if anything wakes me up after 5 am then I'm just up.
  13. Yep. It can be a problem when loading but that's the only time it is. I've thought about using a seat mount with a pin so the seat would be removable but just never have.
  14. A hell of a long ways.
  15. Unfortunately I am both of those guys. Doesn't bother me though.
  16. Pretty sure that is Harper Creek. It gets a lot of runoff from the highway.
  17. This is true. It will affect stability but it hasn’t made it so bad that I haven’t been able to adjust to it. And my seat is about as high as you can get it. But being taller it’s worth it to not feel like you are squatting all the time. Its especially nice on a long float or a weekend of floating. But on those days I have the canoe loaded down and that totally removes the stability problems. Not that it’s really a problem when it’s empty, it just takes a few minutes to get used to the difference. I’ll take a picture of mine when the suns pops back up.
  18. Is it the sitbacker? Because you can probably find one cheaper. Yes I have used one and yes they are worth it. But that seat on a board that you are thinking about is much, much better. It would be a better option at twice the price. That's what I have been using in mine the past several years. Yes it weighs more but so what. I'll take the comfort over a few extra pounds.
  19. Should have stopped and cut his tail off for me.
  20. I have two big ones in my yard that I would like to turn into mulch but the lady of the house says no. But she does complain about them in the spring. I've been hearing this invasive thing about them for a few years. But they are still selling like hotcakes at your local lawn and garden store.
  21. What kind of noise does that thing make flying across the shop?
  22. Dumping your gear on the southwest side seems to be the easiest. The traffic while walking back across the bridge can be intimidating though. But there is a little spot to pull off on the SW side and dump your stuff, move your car across the bridge and then pull your boat down that grassy ditch to the water. It's a workout but if my fatass can do it then anybody can.
  23. Agreed. But I think I might have been guilty of that in the past.
