I think the one's that tanvat is complaining about are all the geniuses just running up and down the river. Not a fishing rod in the boat. They think its a good time to see how close they can get or spray you with their prop. It's why I will not return to the Current River. I don't mind a guy that is out fishing running by me. He can go full blast. at a crawl or anywhere in between. I know that I probably won't see him again until late in the day when he runs back. But those others you will see 10 or 15 times in an afternoon. Just back and forth all day long. There is no sense in that.

You are entitled to your opinion, everyone is. But you guys come in and try to take away from a good catch every time to restate your opinion. Try to make somebody feel below you because you would have released it. It's not needed. Maybe the keepers will do some of you releasers a favor and let the next big one go. Then you will have the opportunity to catch it one morning and stick it in your livewell to run around the lake all day with you. Then you can put it in a plastic bag with a bunch of other fish and stand in line to weigh it in and then hopefully somebody will make sure it gets back to the water alive. I understand that you guys care about the resource. I love that. I really do. But I just don't see any point in getting on a fishing website and berating someone for keeping a fish. There is no point in it. If you truly cared that much for every single fish out there then you would quit fishing all together.

So you are fishing a stream and you notice that the fish are eating a certain fly. You go to your box and you match the hatch and catch a ton of fish. You are a world class fisherman. The guy standing a little ways down the stream notices some guts floating by from time to time and the fish just going crazy over them. So he goes to his box and matches the hatch and catches a ton of fish. He is a world class douche bag. Makes sense to me.

Nice job. When you get below Kerr it's turning into mostly spots through there. But they are still plenty fun to catch, especially since you find then in gangs. A small white spinnerbait works pretty well.

Yep they do a great job. I have had them shuttle my vehicle several times too.

Well let's see if you can catch one off the dock now.

Go to Kerr access, cross the river and go downstream about 100 yards and you will have a perfect place. Might even catch a fish or two.

Premium usually means higher octane. You know how they get a higher octane? They add more ethanol.
