Not sure if it qualifies but I've been carrying one for probably 40 years and it's still working.

It's been random for me.

I've seen herds of them on occasion from Kerr to Galena. Hundreds of fish in the 2 to 3 lb range. They will swim past your canoe and it's like watching a long train. They just keep going by.

One that are listed as spot repair have a quicker drying time which works better on baits. Has to be sprayed and you clean it up with lacquer thinner.

That used to happen to me. I still see a lot of young guys and gals out there giving it a shot.

It rubs the lotion on its skin or else it gets the hose again. Can't get any creepier than that. Watching Event Horizon for about the 50th time right now. For another cheesy everything goes wrong in space movie it's pretty good. And creepy.

I know nothing! I loved that show. I'd much rather watch the old ones. I forgot about Fish. My DVR is set to record Barney Miller from any channel at any time.

All of this reminds me of why I like automotive clear. No durability issues. No drying issues. Does have its drawbacks on initial investment and smell though. Guess there is no perfect system.

Now that I really think about it I probably caused more problems with the skirt than any fish. I always pull a bunch of strands out so I can really burn them through the water if I want.

I don't remember there ever being a problem with the skirts pulling down unless it was pretty worn by a bunch of fish. The replacements always got the zip tie treatment.

Right there with you junk. I have no problems with mono. And when I did use flouro I didn't see any change in catch rate. And yes you can fish a topwater with flouro but why fight it when mono works so well. See absolutely no benefit for using flouro on topwater.

I agree that the skirt attachment is not the best. And I have had to replace plenty of skirts. But it's a good running bait that isn't overpriced.

That's strange to hear. From everything I hear they are the ones to throw. I never gave one a shot because I already have a spinnerbait that I love so I saw no reason to change. And now I guess I never will.

My parents built a new house in the mid 70's. I know for a fact that they spent less on the house than what my wife just did for a new car. And the payments were less than what my families monthly cell phone bill is.

Well I don't think it's any bodies business what you spend your money on. I catch a lot crap for how we spend our money and I think that's ignorant. If I want to spend it all on bassboats and Cheetos I will. By the way I don't own a boat.
