I guess I just don't get it. Everyone complains when MDC doesn't enforce the laws. It's said they need to step up enforcement. But when they do step up and enforce those laws then we get our panties in a wad and scream that it's a bunch of rich MDC agents bolstering their egos. Some people are never happy.

I love how you laugh at the validity of a report quoting the value of eggs. Saying that they are exaggerating and then post this. Plenty of people already own a boat and a truck, plenty of places to do it from the bank. I think we need to get you in for a brain scan because it's obvious that it's not working correctly. You place value on a resource and allow ANYONE to profit from that resource and you will see the decline of that resource. Would you be opposed to me being able to sell my catch of legal trout? Bass? Whites? Deer?

I agree with what you are saying on letting people cash in on the resource but it's not that easy. If they would allow this then next year when little Johnny comes down with his family to snag a bill and help out his family and community he finds an armada of boats on the water. There is no room for any more boats. There are very few legal paddlefish left. All you can hope for is to snag one that has already been gutted and hasn't been in the water too long so you can enjoy the meat. The thing you guys are not taking into consideration is the increase in snagging that would occur if you basically put a bounty on a fish. You want to bring out the a$$holes. Throw some cash in the water and watch them come. It's a sure fire way to destroy a resource, a pastime.

Yeah I just hold the mesh tight against the body with one hand and paint with the other. A latex glove keeps you from painting your fingers. The paint I'm using flashes off quick enough that I can remove the mesh as soon as I'm done spraying and then pick up the next body and repeat. I'm going to do another batch next weekend, maybe I'll make a video of the process from start to finish.

Any kind of mesh cloth. That particular pattern comes from one of those mesh drink holders on a camp chair.

Well that was a late night but they are painted.

Well don't get too excited I'm just airbrushing them solid white. Maybe I'll add some accents though. Im still holding this up. I redid the bodies and tried something different. Painting tonight and I promise it will be more than just white. Soon as they are dry enough not to stick together I'll pop them all in a box and get them the hell away from me.

Well I have one set of flies done and other than that I'm living in popper hell. Bodies made but then I jacked up my airbrush. Then I had to leave town for a couple days. But I'm back and have parts for the brush and will be painting tonight. Clear tomorrow and I'll ship it out first thing this coming Monday. I apologize again for another delay. I just wanted to make sure you received something nice.
