  1. Sweet score and great color. Someone was NOT happy to lose that.
  2. Nice report. Nice non-offensive hoodie....no Florida State or Hogs.
  3. Nice report. Thanks for the pic....although I would have preferred a pic of the customer wart.
  4. 1/4oz has always been what I throw and I think what the majority of guys throw. Just a good all around weight to throw deep or shallow. If the wind kicks up can always bump it up to a 3/8oz.
  5. This would truly be a godsend. I've had this for about 7 years now and it's the most frustrating "ailment" I've ever had. I realize that I shouldn't be complaining as there are people suffering from just terrible and life threatening diseases but man.....dry skin and spit fingers are just the devil reincarnated.
  6. Yep. A round of golf also makes my fingertips split. I carry that liquid bandage in my bag now.
  7. I have tried just about everything. All creams, lotions, etc. I have slept with cotton gloves on slathered with Aquaphor. That does work, until you stop. Like you said keeping your skin moisturized is the best way to prevent the drying out and eventual splitting. But it is kinda hard to keep up with that regimen because it is so friggin' annoying going to bed looking like a half naked mime. When a split does occur I also do the hydrogen peroxide, triple antibiotic and band aid combo until the skin heals. But I can have my skin as good as I think it is going to be....and ONE weekend of fishing, tooling around twisting screws, bolts, battery wingnuts, thumbing a wet baitcaster spool, tying knots, etc.....and I am RIGHT BACK TO SQUARE ONE with DESTROYED FINGER TIPS. I have had thoughts of just taking a lighter to my finger tips and cauterize the dang things. Also would double as removal of finger prints so when I break into Dave's bait hoard.....good luck dusting for them!
  8. Or fantasy fishing advice
  9. I do not. I will gladly trade you either a jersey or choice of Buff for some though.
  10. I used to do that with the Loctite blue bottle (ned) glue. It works great but the more I thought about it, probably not a good idea as that is not it's intended purpose to be used on skin. My skin is already dried out and split so in the end might make matters worse after the quick fix.
  11. Oh my goodness. I am going to need to see what is inside of each and every one of those Plano's.....for the sake of National Security. Wouldn't want someone getting any ideas that we are harboring a bait terrorist right here in middle America and facilitating his actions on this forum. Going to need to catalog and make record of every bait.
  12. Clearrrrrrrrrrrrr.............................
  13. Donna, I have eczema and it just rotates from hand to hand and from finger tip to finger tip. To say that over the last 5 years it has driven absolutely insane is an understatement. During the cold months it becomes 10x worse. What I have been using lately is that liquid bandage stuff. It dries fast and works pretty good to seal up split skin. Working okay for me.
  14. Nice video. Hard to beat swimming a grub or swimbait.
  15. Maybe was disappointed we didn't have a safe space forum?????
  16. Probably just mad that his profile pic is a merp bass (Bass Blaster readers will get that).
  17. I know anytime someone posts a pic of new baits on TW (Usually Quill) I get hot and bothered. Don't even know what would happen if for some reason Dave decided to take a pic of his bait bunker in his basement and post it here. I might need a defib machine near by.
  18. Sorry. Just checked my inbox and I was at 100% capacity for storage. Deleted some and am good to go now.
  19. That's a dandy. Congrats Donna and Champ. Team effort! But if you think for one second you are fooling me with that photo with an aptly placed ned front and center, you got another thing comin'. LoL.
  20. Pic of bait used?
  21. If you hate navigating on this site then you probably don't like a lot of sites. This is a very "cookie cutter" format that A LOT of various forum style websites use. I am sure that Phil would be open to your opinions on making the site better. But at least have something specific you don't like with a suggestion for improvement. Coming on here and saying it basically sucks isn't very productive or enlightening.
  22. I print off the product pictures in color and glue them into the actual books. Should see some of my collection. The Tortoise and Hair Jig, Goldie Locks and the 3 Arm A-Rig, Hickory Dickory Dock Spooning, Little Boy SPro-Blue McStick, Snow White and the 7 Warts and finally Pop-R Goes the Weasel. I got'em all.
  23. Didn't mean to let the cat out of the bag. I am just such a tackle junky loser that I know most every bait that is on TW. Some parent's read their kids bedtime stories.....I read mine TW lure's product descriptions.
  24. That's awesome. Thanks for sharing.
  25. 6th Sense is putting out some quality stuff these days. The paint jobs are 2nd to none for their price point IMO. I just haven't gotten into the JDM stufff. Mainly because it is pricy. Also, because a lot of it is gimmicky. The Japanese are innovators and willing to think outside the box though I'll give them that. Throw a lot of stuff at the wall and every now and then it does stick. As far as the old stuff, once in a blue moon I will pick up something off FleaBay. A couple of weeks ago I got a old Mann's Chug n Spit for $0.99. I'm a high roller like that.
