  1. I finished 55th on the Co side. In 2.5 days I bet I caught 60 fish with only 1 keeper in practice and 2 during the tournament. There are a ton of 14.5" fish in this lake. I would also like to tell Dave thanks for the heads. They worked great. I caught 1 keeper on a tube and 1 on a baby brush hog and had a great time.
  2. Ike has already culled 39#'s and a lot of 20plust sacks according to Basstrak, That is crazy..
  3. Anyone know of a tackle shop near St.louis or Lake of the Ozarks that has any Chompers Rigging Shads. I have tried their website on two different computers but have had issues. Thanks,
  4. Creek off 21 is Joachim creek, Missed many college classes because of that creek. Highway 55 to Festus exit, go "West" to Highway P. The bridge I used to park at was in Hematite I think .
  5. Awesome video.
  6. These guys will catch them. I like Evers to win.
  7. Nice Fish
  8. Enjoy it this weekend. I broke my foot and get my cast off in two weeks and I can guarantee that in two weeks it will be below freezing and snowing everyday. That is just my luck.
  9. I would agree with everyone above. Less than a week from order to I got my jig heads. Dave is great...
  10. Nice fish, thanks for the report.
  11. Nice looking Rig!
  12. Love when spots are piled up.
  13. Not that I have ever done this but just my two sense: Use cable, not rope or chains Use blocks or poor ready mix in a bucket, if using blocks and a tree drill a hole through the trunk and run the cable through the tree. Use a dead tree already down and cut most of the small branches, leave the big limbs PVC works but sand the coating off the pipes Do not use pallets or Xmas tress unless you like donating lures to the lake. Green trees will work but fish seem to locate to dead trees sooner. Most of all be careful in the winter and email me the GPS coordinates.
  14. Agree with most above. Use what you have confidence in or switch to you find what they want.
  15. Great Job on the video. Thanks for putting this together.
  16. Grew up in Arnold and only ever caught a couple small bass and some catfish out of it. The Meramec is a better option or go down to Simpson Lake in Fenton. Also used to wade fish Joachim creek in Hillsboro but haven't done that in years. Joe
  17. Very excellent information here. Thanks,
  18. I used to swear by BANG. Prefishing for a tourney I left it on the deck and the bottle blew out. I ran all over Osage Beach looking for it to no avail. Ended up taking second without it. Ever sense that day I dont feel I need it. I think it is a confidence thing.
  19. Guys fishing the BFL on Saturday and was staying at Kimberling City Inn but now need a new, realitively inexpensive hotel/room for Friday night. Anyone have any recomendations. Joe
  20. Great report as always. Hope everyone in the area is recovery and getting back on their feet.
  21. I should also clarify that I am fishing as a non-boater.
  22. No, what guarnteed boater means is someone who has entered the tournament, paid and definetly going to show up and fish the tournament. The boater and non-boater link so they are both guarnteed to fish. The format is computer draw.
  23. I need a guarnteed boater to link with at the next BFL TROCK event on 04/18/2009. http://bfl.flwoutdoors.com/tou...=6285 Email me at josephrdietz@yahoo.com
  24. Family vacation in Perdido Key early June and I would like to try to get out and do a 4 hr trip. Anyone had any experiences with guides in this area. I did some research on line and would like to get any feed back from people here that may have used a guide in this area. Thanks, Joe
  25. I use the pro qualifer exclusively and have never had a problem. The 2009 is only available in a 7.1:1 and a 6.4:1 I believe.
