  5. Dave's jigheads are fantastic!
  6. That was great! But, it does hit at a great point. Sometimes we get "fooled" into thinking expensive is better. Look at fishing right now.....the craze is the "Ned".....it costs $.50 for the jig head and $.50 for the TRD....$1.00 to catch fish. Oh the irony of fishing!! Gotta love it! Dave
  7. I really like my 6'6 Falcon Original ML for grubs, shakey heads, and ned rig.
  8. Are we allowed to "trailer" to other launch ramps? I don't have a large motor

  19. I have started using Power Pro Braid (green) in 15lb test and a 4-6 lb 6-8foot floor leader. Takes care of the twist issue
  20. Great! Love stories like this. I spent 3 hours over Memorial Day taking hooks off Bluegill for my Wife, Daughter, and Son. It was a blessed day I will tell you that!
  21. Praying for the King family
  22. My fishing buddy, Jim, and I spent a long weekend out of Shell Knob. The bite was incredible. We landed over 100 fish for the weekend. We found the best bite to be from the bank out to 15 feet. The best banks were long tapered banks with basket ball size boulders or some fallen limbs in the water that were related to secondary points. The best baits of weekend were weight less Flukes (Pearl White), Shakey Head (watermelon-red flake) on a 3/16 oz head, C-Rig with a 3/8 oz sinker and a Fish Dr., and Wobble Head with a SK Mence in Watermelon-Red with a 7/16 oz head. The water temp went from 61-67 degrees throughout the weekend. We saw a number of bedding fish, and we left them alone unless they smashed into our baits. I would recommend getting out there, but I am not sure how the bite will fair with the cool down. They may stay put and commit to the spawn. Good Luck! Here is the plastic damage I did this weekend!
  23. Great Fish!
  24. Bill, Thanks for the great trip. Top Class operation and friends!
