  1. That's a nice walleye. Nothing wrong with keeper sized spots, especially on top water.
  2. Zebra mussel larvae are microscopic. So I'm told, never have seen one in the flesh.
  3. That's a beautiful fish - congrats!
  4. And in my case, add envious.
  5. Same danger exists on Beaver. But if the stripers are busting top water, I can't resist the urge to throw at them.
  6. Good stuff, I hope to get out there soon.
  7. Next thing you know, people will be complaining about all the wakes being generated by thousands of Whopper Ploppers churning though the water. Congrats on a great day!
  8. LM/SM hybrid is pretty rare. Maybe has something to do with when and where the different species spawn.
  9. I'd say Mean, based on the pic. You can do a Google search and find some reading on them, not a lot of info out there however. My question about them is can they successfully spawn? Most hybrid fish are sterile.
  10. Thankfully for him they didn't find any contraband in his car, and that could be a sign that he's wised up a bit. But, yeah, pay your tickets. He's only caught 3 passes this year, but 2 have been for TD's. Titans staff seems to like him.
  11. I'm way ahead of the game (for once), picked one up this spring. But, that doesn't mean I don't need more colors... I'm liking the Yellow Magic Havana right now, but just haven't had time lately to get out and fish.
  12. I picked one up this spring, caught some fish on it, but walk-the-dog type lures have caught just as many for me. Funny how word gets out so fast in the bass world these days, Tackle Warehouse is sold out of a lot of the colors.
  13. So I think we are looking at 3 nights? Thursday, Friday, and Saturday? I would like to come in Thursday evening and fish Friday and Saturday.
  14. Watson hung in there and won it. Wheeler had another big day, he won each of the the last 2 days, but a bad first day kept him from winning. But $17 K is not a bad consolation prize. Here's a link to the payouts. http://www.bassmaster.com/tournaments/2015-bass-pro-shops-central-open-3/results/1
  15. Give the COE office a call. Phone: (501) 340-1950
  16. Back seated in my buddy Jeb's boat today. We caught 20-25, but mostly small 10-14 inch spots. One smallie that was around 16" was the big fish. Drop shot, jig, spook type lures, and swim jig all worked.
  17. They'll probably show the payouts with the final results on Bassmaster.com. Jacob Wheeler moved up a bunch, that young man can fish a frog and other top water with the best of them.
  18. Well it is October 1 and it's time to start thinking about this. Looks as if everyone is happy with staying at Riley's, and it seems the weekend after Thanksgiving weekend is the one that seems to work best for all concerned. That would be the weekend of December 5 this year. So who is in?
  19. Nice, very nice!
  20. Haven't tried one - nice thing about Bandits is they are one of the less expensive cranks, so if you buy one and it doesn't work, it won't put you in the poor farm.
  21. Sent him a email last night, but haven't heard back from him. He gets really busy during football season (coaching). Probably would be best for him to handle these requests for contact info, I'm sure he'll reply back, may take a while for him to get to it.
  22. Sent you a PM.
  23. I did not know this, but it looks as if we have fresh water jellyfish in many of the lakes in this region. They are an invasive (from China), but fortunately appear to be harmless. USGS map shows them being in Beaver, Taney, and Bull Shoals, you'd think in that case they would also be in Table Rock. http://www.bellavistapoa.com/newsmanager/templates/template.asp?articleid=5290&zoneid=7
  24. Thanks for the report, I was wondering how the Kings was fishing.
  25. Good stuff, can't beat the weather this time of year.
