  1. There's no age limit, but would like to see that if they are so young that you don't want to register them as an OA member, that at least they are fishing with an OA member.
  2. You can show up then, just make sure your buddy signs up as a member on OA, which he can do any time. We want to give the trophy to an OA member.
  3. Nice one! I like throwing the wobble head, looks like it is time to start throwing it around.
  4. You can start anywhere (on Table Rock, at 0730) be back to Eagle Rock by 1430 for the weigh in.
  5. Less than 2 weeks until 3/12. Looks like the weather is going to stay relatively warm until then, hopefully the water temp will warm up a bit, and if so, we may see some pretty good fishing! Here's who I have so far, I realize a few of you are maybes. 6. Good stuff Ham, glad to see you're getting out with your dad and doing some fishing.
  7. Yep, the good old grease pit bite.
  8. Good stuff, and good luck on the tourney!
  9. That ought to work!
  10. Threw one for a bit yesterday, but did not get any bites. Donna G. has been picking some up on a jig, and I believe you are right, it should be going good before long.
  11. Nice Kentuck, I bet it is pushing the 3 lb. mark.
  12. Fished today with fellow board member Muddy Water (Robert). We put in a solid 6 hours, starting at 0900 after it warmed up a bit. Tough day, we caught 9 bass, Robert had the biggest with a fat spot that was just short of 3 lbs. Almost all came on the shaky head, I believe Robert did get one on a Ned. Fish were deep, 10-30 feet down. One here and one there, never really found a good consistent spot. One spot that had been very productive for me last week, didn't give us one bite today. Water temps 47-48, water still a stained green color.
  13. I forgot the part about quickly. I fish the Ned pretty darn slowly, so I guess it would fail the quickly qualification.
  14. Ned rigs, using shroom heads with a wire weed guard, are somewhat snagless, and if you get hung up and have to break it off, you aren't out of many $$$.
  15. Welcome Tyler - You can poke around on Table Rock and find some bank access. The Big M COE park and the area around the boat launch has quite a bit of bank access, at least at the water level we have now. If you have some waders and are willing to dodge around the buck brush you can stay busy for a few hours. I've caught several bass in the past casting from in front of the parking lot before launching my boat.
  16. Welcome!
  17. I like it!
  18. I was living in the Seattle area in 2001 when the Mariners won 116 games. But, they lost to the Yankees in 5 games in the ALCS.
  19. Nice one Brett!
  20. HAHA, funny Moguy. Cubs are the favorites this year, but they are the Cubs. I would like to see the Red Sox play KC in the ALCS.
  21. Congrats on some nice fish!
  22. Hey guys - thanks for the food offers, you are certainly welcome to bring some food, it will get eaten I am sure. I will bring plastic cups, plates and utensils. Probably want to bring your own drinks, I think I remember someone brought some water last year, but that was about it.
  23. Got out today at 0800, wanted it to warm up a bit before I started, and fished until 2:30 PM. Still not finding many places holding fish, as a matter of fact, I think 6 or 7 of the 10 I caught came from the same place, a rocky point with submerged trees, Fish were a bit deep, 10-25 feet. Caught them on a shaky head and the Ned, very, very, light biters. Missed a good one, but about 10 minutes later caught a 4.5 LM that was my big fish of the day, 2nd place was a 15" Kentucky, and the rest were shorts. Water is still a stained green, and I saw temps that were in the 47-49 range.
  24. That is a great idea, those shad are moving slow and some of them are struggling. Ought to be perfect for a slow moving suspended bait like the F&F. I always get a kick out of watching a bobber disappear.
  25. Haha, yes that is a good winter spot that Mike saw me on. Didn't fish very well yesterday, had one bite and that was it. I think they were there, saw some on the bottom, but I just wasn't throwing what they wanted. Man there were a lot of boats out there yesterday.
