I've probably been on several hundred commercial flights in my lifetime back in my working days. Had a couple of those touch and go incidents, that's always a little spooky.
Yeah good thing it turned out all right in the end. I wonder at what point the crew realized they were landing at the wrong airport and thus a short runway? Somewhere in the process you'd have to recognize what's going on and make that decision to make a quick stop before you run out of runway.
I hear you on that. The rod I was using is rated down to 1/32, so it should toss them, but like you're suggesting, I'd need to spool it with 4 lb. line. I was using 6# when we fished in December, great for 1/8. just OK for 1/16, and probably be a bit of a problem with 1/32.
Yep that would be a good thing to have a weekly. Used to get "Fishing and Hunting News" weekly when I lived in WA state - however guys would complain about it saying that it was giving away their secret spots and baits - you can't win.
Too windy for me to fish, then the power went out so I missed most of the Carolina/Niner game - can't fish, could not watch football - the double whammy!
I never did get a good deep jig bite this summer like I did last summer. Spring jig bite was good, had some good days on chunk rock banks, but never did get that deep football jig bite off the deep end of points.
The Thursday edition of Benton County paper will usually quote someone from HLS in the weekly report. It's very generic stuff, but I guess it could give a person a starting point.
Arkansas played Florida well yesterday, but mental mistakes, missed free throws, and a missed layup cost them in the end. Frustrating loss. Kentucky is up next.
Now Academy has an entry in the "Megabass cheap copy" jerk bait lineup. Even though the description says that it is floating, word is that they suspend.
