  1. I don't need no more stinking baits, well actually I think I have a couple stored somewhere, now I get to spend a few hours looking for them.
  2. Bentonville high school kid busted yesterday. Terroristic threatening is a Class D felony. One of those dumb things a high school kid can do, but serious consequences. FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA) -- A Bentonville High School student was arrested Wednesday after threatening to use a gun on campus, police say. The Bentonville Police Department said the unnamed minor left a handwritten note with the threat on it. A second note was found later, authorities said. At 11:40 a.m., the 10th grade student was identified and arrested. No weapons were found on campus or with the student. Police said he faces a charge of first-degree terroristic threatening. The school district released this statement: "These situations occur in schools across the nation, unfortunately. We'll continue to respond with a zero-tolerance policy, considering both expulsion and felony criminal charges for any student found in violation."
  3. They are running water out of Beaver also, about 4K CFS, hard to know when they are going to stop, usually they keep Phil in the loop, maybe he can chime in.
  4. Welcome, and we'll see you there!
  5. Roaring River State Park, which is about 7-8 miles from Eagle Rock is open for camping now. They also have cabins.
  6. Water was a bit messed up today, leafs and limbs out in the water and on almost all the banks making it tough to throw anything with trebles. Water was brown, not too bad, but I don't think the fish have adjusted to it yet. I caught 2 spotted bass on a tube and had 2 other bites and that was it. Threw a Ned rig for a while, not a bite on it - this is usually my favorite time of year to fish the Ned, but they wanted nothing to do with it today. I might have been fishing it too deep, if I was going to do it over again, I might switch out to a 1/16 head and fish it on the bank, the few bites I had today on the tube were out in about 5-10 FOW. Supposed to get some wind the next couple of days, hopefully it will blow a lot of the junk in the water onto the banks. WT 47-48
  7. I don't have a problem with bump stocks getting banned, but that isn't even close to providing any kind of solution. Not that I have any answers.
  8. Das boot!
  9. Another big clump of rain coming in, heck we may see 915.
  10. Dadgum it! I was planning on heading over there today to see if they had any..
  11. I think we need a couple of tables, I believe m&m is bringing one, but we probably need at least one more.
  12. Excellent, glad to see you are coming!
  13. I've always been a fan of "Dirt", but this winter the smallies on Beaver wanted PB&J. I had a bag of PB&J that had a really bright purple for the J part. I wasn't that sort of dark J you usually see on PB&J Zinkerz. Smallies really liked that bright purple, unfortunately those Zinkerz are long gone and I haven't been able to find another bag like it.
  14. Yeah, we need a link, what was he doing? Singing and dancing?
  15. Well I don't want to embrace any log jams. But, nice to get some color in the lake, I am hoping for a happy medium.
  16. Looks like it has come up a foot and still rising.
  17. Flag flying over the fort means the fort had not been surrendered. Made a lot of sense at the time.
  18. Those are some healthy walters!

  20. Now I see an add for a Pflueger reel at BPS - that makes more sense. I tell you one thing, I sure am not going to do a search on cookie cutters.
  21. DR. told me that I should never run again unless my life depends on it. I did a little searching a while back on NY steelhead fishing, so I guess there could be some kind of loose connection to NY there.
  22. For some reason I am getting an advertisement for a 200 mile run (multiday) in the Adirondacks this fall.
  23. We need some for sure, just hope we don't have widespread flooding. Just got back from walking the dog, warm and windy with lightning to the north.
  24. That was my plan all along.
  25. Be happy to fish with you someday if you'd like to check it out.
