  1. Striper fishermen troll them.
  2. April can't come soon enough.
  3. Watch for Gizmo a little after the 4 minute mark. http://www.hookedonbass.com/FISHREPORT.htm
  4. Lots of front deck.
  5. Cabelas has Pflueger Supremes (Not the XT version) on sale in the Bargain Cave for $59.00. Heckuva deal. Or to put it another way, good bang for the buck.
  6. I'll record it. I record just about every sporting event I want to watch, so nice to be able to skip the commercials.
  7. Classic television coverage on ESPN2 will premiere Saturday, March 7, with a three-hour block covering Day 1 and Day 2 of the competition, and the final round will be covered in a two-hour show Sunday, March 8, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on ESPN2. (See Bassmaster.com for complete listings.)
  8. Nice score.
  9. Yikes, another jerk bait! Hope they work because I'll probably pick a couple up.
  10. Good deal Alex, those are some really nice fish!
  11. Good one!
  12. Not only to you have to deal with the ramp at Horseshoe, but the parking lot slopes downhill to the ramp.
  13. You MO fans should just put on a red t-shirt and come on down and root for the Hogs. We even cleared the snow off the roads for you. Should be clear sailing to Fayetteville.
  14. Could set up well for McClelland.
  15. Loc-tite Gel. Not as likely to run as the liquid super glue.
  16. Looking forward to it, looks to be lots of coverage this year. Copied this from the web site: Classic television coverage on ESPN2 will premiere Saturday, March 7, with a three-hour block covering Day 1 and Day 2 of the competition, and the final round will be covered in a two-hour show Sunday, March 8, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on ESPN2. (See Bassmaster.com for complete listings.) The programs are videoed, edited and produced by the same team that’s responsible for The Bassmasters show on ESPN2 and the Outdoor Channel. That show recently received the prestigious Golden Moose award for “Best Fishing Show” — the third such award in the past four years for the program.

    Snow!

Got about 6" here in Bella Vista. Just curious if it is less in the Rogers - Fayetteville area. Weatherman said there would be more to the north.
  18. Cool stuff, always neat to see the old baits.
  19. Corps of Engineer parks mostly have some bank fishing access, water is down right now so you can get around some on the bank. There's also some bank access below the Power site on Taney, I think it is considered to be Upper Bull Shoals - I never have been there but have heard bank fishing can be good if the water level is right - talk to the folks at Lilley's about that. If it was me, I'd probably just stick with the trout fishing at Taney. Another option is to save up some extra money and hire a guide for a day on Table Rock.
  20. Great game last night, a game the Hogs needed (and so did Ole Miss). 6 seconds to go, AR scores, takes a one point lead, Ole Miss took it down the court and missed - thought they gave the Hogs a break there by not calling time out and setting something up. This should put AR in The Dance unless the really stink it up from here.
  21. That first pic may make someone yell - Mountain Lion!
  22. Wasn't it really windy out on the lake yesterday? I know for myself, if it is really windy this time of year, it makes it tough to fish the slow stuff. Only piece of advice I have, is if you catch a fish, you want to work that area real hard, they've been grouped up lately and if you catch one, there should be more around. I'd work a Ned to follow up on those jerk bait fish or maybe a grub if you don't like to fish the Ned. I'd work it real slow, drag it and shake it, in 10-20 FOW. You can also get a few vertical fishing it if you see fish or shad on the sonar. Just pull it off the bottom an inch or so and gently shake it (the Ned). Maybe pick up some 3/16 oz heads for the windy days, I fished that size Friday in the wind and caught fish on it. If I'm telling you stuff you already know, my apologies. Keep hammering at them, this time of year your next cast can get you a biggun.
  23. I was watching that Oklahoma MLF wrap-up show yesterday, they had some good shots of smallmouth blowing up on the Redfin. I am looking forward to the warm water fishing.
  24. The feathered trebles on it seem a bit weird.
