    World Cup

Great game today between Mexico and Brazil, Mexican goalie made some unbelievable saves.
  2. I would not point fingers at any group of fishermen, if this is intentional, which I believe it is, then it the work of an extremely sick individual. I've caught thousands of bass over my lifetime, I've never caught one with a lip that has been split like that.
  3. I want the one with the chartreuse panels on it. It will match my spinner baits. I've been waiting years for a motor that matched my spinner baits. Thank you Evinrude!
  4. They beat Verlander up last night. Tigers defensive miscues didn't help Verlander either.

Good to see the win, but it sure seemed like Ghana controlled the game for the most part. Altidore needs to get healthy.

    World Cup

    Yep go USA!
  7. That's a great smallie!
  8. I think they need Shields if they're going to have a shot at the playoffs. It's good to have that experience in the rotation.

    Royals/tigers

4 game series between these two starts this week, Royals 1.5 out, I'd like to see them split this series at the least. They are definitely in the hunt for a Wild Card spot. If they could just pick up a big bat it would help immensely.
  10. I agree, neat map.
  11. Yeah sure looks intentional to me.
  12. Is it this one? http://www.dnr.mo.gov/asp/wrc/currentlakeobservations.asp
  13. I use Boga grips sometimes to weigh fish, if used properly they cause no harm. I have never caught a bass with a split in it's jaw as described above. I don't know how that can be caused unless it's intentional. Hook setting, gripping lower lip, etc., is not going to rip them like it's been described.
  14. As I understand it, fall turnover gets rid of the thermocline. It forms again, though not guaranteed, in the summer, usually in June on Table Rock. If you Google "Thermocline" you'll get a much more detailed explanation than I can provide.
  15. Sheesh, it's not even the 4th of July yet.
  16. Good deal!
  17. My guess is smaller panfish, gizzard shad and such. I did see in one main channel area up the White, schooling shad with bass feeding on them, some of the shad schools were deep - 40-50 feet down. Bill Babler has reported some of the guides are getting fish 30-50 feet deep, so I'm thinking with no thermocline the fish have a lot of vertical water they can move in.
  18. Get a loaf of that miniature rye bread. On a slice of that bread, spread some cream cheese (or mayo), add some smoked trout (or salmon) top off with some chopped red onion and a couple of capers.
  19. Excellent, glad to see you and the family are catching them!

Watched a bit of the Brazil game, sure helps to have friendly refs.

Sorry to hear that, best wishes on a successful surgery and a speedy recovery!
  22. Yeah no kidding, sad thing is, even that is too much "work" for some folks. So they go thieving.
