I can't limit myself to 5, there's so many variables - time of year, water clarity, time of day. But in general: Zoom trick worms in various colors Zoom Ol' Monster various colors Dry Creek tubes Missile Baits Twin Turbo as a jig trailer Zoom Finesse worms fro drop shots Z-man Zinkers for Ned rigs Right now I like 6" Zoom lizards.

The "late start" makes no sense - they rank a lake in northern WI #1 - talk about a late starting lake! I don't have a dog in this fight, so I don't care that much - but I agree the ranking system is messed up. -

I agree, I've gone into the deepest part of my house (the basement), sitting tight up against the wall, and I've lost my appetite.

I see that Bassmaster magazine has ranked Sturgeon Bay, WI as the #1 bass destination in the USA. Lots and lots of big smallies - I wonder if they've even seen the Ned? That would be a fun road trip to go up there and fish for those smallies.

Probably the citric acid in the Dew that made them go nuts, fish are very sensitive to it.
