Never heard that one. Back in mid 90's. He was down for fall tying convention and camped next to me. Introduced me to Little Yeoman, had to make trips out to get some that year. There was a group that second nite so anything could have happened.

Was thinking about putting in at Tecumseh and running up. May just take yaks over and do some floating. There is a float on the upper Jack's I have been wanting to do, plenty of water in the area this fall.

I always wondered that, but in the fall when staying in Licking, there were gigging rigs going somewhere out that direction in droves. I always figured they were going after the suckers on the Piney. They may be running up farther. They would all heading west out of Licking in jets of an evening.

Have a 4 day weekend coming up, trip to Dale Hollow postponed till later in fall. Going to 11 PT and thinking about Gainesville area. Anyone run the North Fork in a light jet? Thinking about Houston area and Big Piney also, have not been there in a long time.

Some screen wire to make a funnel and you can catch the minnows that clean it for bait!

I did it in the inflatable pontoon one time. Tom Hargrove dumped me in and moved my truck down to the confluence. They kicked up both generators about a mile down. Sit most of it out on the bank, then it peaked and I went on thru. Pretty fast ride.

You can still lurk there without the drama. I watch a couple of jet boat groups and Marketplace. I never sign on. I have a bogus fbook I created for access to the cancer center a few years ago. You had to have fbook credentials to login. Rumor has it my buddies created one several years ago after a couple of them got busted by their wives on a camping trip. Seems like a bunch of females started friending them after that weekend. They got peeved because I was not traceable. Made me a black porn star or something to get even. Wife never goes there so we will probably never know.

540-840 is a large variance. I would think they could get a better estimate than that. More deer in the least deer populated county in MO than all of the bears. But they will sucker the $10 bucks off all the applicants that try to get a permit. Better odds getting a winning lottery ticket for $2. Cash cow.

Never liked picking pellets out of game animals. I use a Ruger 10/22 with a scope. Hollow point to the head. Grandpa used to scold me all of the time. I ruined the best part of the squirrel for him, the head. I was always a fair shot with the shotgun, but prefer the rifle or pistol for most of my shooting.

It goes with anything. Makes good hand sanitizer too. We made punch bowls out of Everclear and Hawaii Punch. Oly used to have party ball kegs. We would drink the beer and then fill them up with the punch concoction. Makes you invincible.....

Despite all of the crazy going on this year, I has had its moments. That was the best. I am going to miss them. The Doctors and Nurses I have been with the last 5 years were great. I can't say enough about them. They have been like family. I have watched Doc's kids grow up. Most visits end up with more personal than business. Just like the stuff around here. Thanks for all of the prayers.

Drifting the jet boat 2 summers ago, buddy in charge of boat was messing around with something and let my end drift into a sweeper. Rods were up high on the rails, one went over and the one i grabbed shattered in the tree. I was left with the one i was fishing with and a reel on a butt section.
