Saw a fish and potato prep on TV last weekend that looked promising. White fish sautéed in lotsa butter, boiled and smooshed small potatoes crisped up in the butter in the same pan. Sliced garlic and sage in there too. Plated it all up and thought about a pic. Nope...I’m tired of taking grief for posting nicely lit, well composed, detailed pictures in the beautiful natural light of the deck only to be ridiculed here. So, I think — I’ll just plop into my chair and take a lap pic just to show you ding dongs the other extreme. Maybe even turn the pic on its side like some of you do! Well, long story short, I ended up with butter in my lap. Chiefs t-shirt, shorts, undies — all drenched in butter. Had to strip down and scrub my ‘lap’ and throw everything in the wash. I hate you guys😄

If I was going to design one of these from scratch I’d throw In about 5 More steps and multiply it all by a zero. But that’s just me 😄

Tried out 3 spots Friday night and besides the clouds each of them weren’t quite as good a vantage point as I’d hoped. Cloudy last two nights too. Know of a perfect spot but it’s about 45 minutes away. Have a 300 mm equivalent lens for my camera that should capture it well.

Wifey made a Costco trip and got some nice blueberries. Did some Grandma Vi’s pancakes with blueberries this morning.
