  1. Good idea, I think I will spend some time at the vice this morning. When it warms up some I need to go to town for more pellets for the pellet stove. It's eating them up. VID_20250120_095644577.mp4
  2. We bottomed out at 4 here. A buddy of mine in the Herman area had 0.
  3. I have something we all should do today, Get yourself a jar with a tight-fitting lid. Go outside and take a deep breath and exhale it into the jar, quickly put the lid back on the jar. Put this jar in the freezer. This summer when you go fishing or any outdoor activity when it is sweltering hot and humid take this jar out and put it in your cooler. When you are so uncomfortable and think you will pass out from the heat get that jar out and open it. Instead of inhaling the contents all at once put a straw into it and take tiny hits so it lasts longer. Take time to think about the day you filled the jar, a chill will run through your body. 😉

    What's Cooking?

Well I have some pictures for yesterday's meal. Something we haven't eaten in three months. Split a ribeye steak. From Sam's club. Thin streaks of marbling throughout the meat. Sides of smashed potatoes and Cesar salad with homemade creamy dressing. There is something to be said even though not the healthiest thing to put into your system about taking a bite of red meat and the silky fat melting in your mouth. Feeling kinda guilty it was a two pack and the other was rubbed with seasoning vac sealed and frozen. I think we will wait and three months before we cook it. VID_20250118_125025832.mp4

Did it look as good as it tasted? Sounds good. Did you try to load a picture. I can't seem to get one on here this evening.
  13. I really liked the Texans field goal kicker today.
  14. Exactly the problems. I have seen people smoking crack even. Some good fishing upstream of the millpond for smallmouth.

Thumbs up on gizzards. The only thing livers are good for is the part of dirty part in dirty rice the rest of the dirty is hearts and gizzards. We are talking fowl parts. There is no place in our life for mammal livers of any sort. We do like deer heart.
  16. I have you some Jim. Not a bunch but some none the less.
  17. Welcome back, Maybe our paths will cross on the water someday.
  18. I have heard that same thing.
  19. I really don't know why I get such a bad reputation. 😆
  20. I will also, it's where I met you for the first time. Plateau was never the same after Jim left. So are you still out west somewhere or back this way?
  21. Bring it Mr. Pitt I would like to see it please. See you there.
  22. Harmony Mission conservation lake near Rich Hill has also been stocked with them. Never caught any there but supposed to be in there.
  23. Hush your mouth, Not really and I agree. Spent many hours there also. Dislike the crowd there. I have been called names I would not repeat because I was in a boat below. Had things besides jigs thrown at the boat. These guys had to really try to reach me to do that. I finally quit untangling stuff and began to just cut the line. That made them even madder. They were going to call the law. Go ahead. I was downstream on the east side. I'm sure you know where that was. They were on the bridge. Guys on the bank behind me were laughing. I crowded out no one. Thankfully you know the highway bridge below is a good spot. No wading when generation but at low water some wading. You can tear up the fish below that though. I know you know that deal also.
