  1. Boy that is a good thing to hear because I was afraid the pay to fish lake might of got too you a few extra bucks but since it was a certified scale you got what you paid for, BilletHead
  2. I think oneshot and MoCarp are using the same scales for fish tales, BilletHead
  3. Joplin store? Man what time? If I would of known you were in there I would of hollered at the top of my lungs, OZARK ANGLERS HEY MOPANFISHER CHECK OUT THIS CARP BAIT.... BilletHead

    What's Cooking?

Worth a try gentlemen, General Tso straight from BilletHeadVille, http://chiwulff.com/2018/03/09/friday-feast-9-march-2018-home-kitchen-general-tsos-chicken/ And fellows you would be proud of me. It was real chicken straight from the store raised on who knows what instead of wild fowl which eats what the good lord intended for it to eat in the wide open instead of a cage. I know one thing we used dried Thai peppers from the BilletHead garden. Sweat beads appeared on the BilletHead bald head. Maybe a few less next time and with wild turkey for the protein , BilletHead

Red hot Riplets step aside, there's a new kid in town, BilletHead
  7. I thought of you MoCarp today, On sale at Academy. Maybe not a good seller or does not taste good. I almost bought it for you to try on fish and yourself. I remember you make your own carp bait and eat it yourself when you need a snack. The label says it stimulates feeding activity. When you eat bait like the carp does it stimulate your feeding activity? Do you and the fishes binge eat? , Is this a high protein diet? Joplin location get it before the clearance ends or the shelf empties. Thinking of you buddy, BilletHead
  8. Way to go Lance! You are the man catching and working out hero photos. Well done, BilletHead
  9. Took a walk back to the pond i fished last week. Needed a fix. Crap on my mind and I needed some relief and to forget temporally. A bit windy casting but manageable between gusts. Thinking it would be another bass day I put on a three inch streamer. Smaller than the one I used last week. Two or three casts later my first bass followed by a couple more. Next cast another fish but not a bass but big bluegill. He engulfed the three inches, Then another gill, Thought if this is going to happen I would rather catch these instead of another stinkin bass . The fly reel is four inches across for scale. Pretty nice bluegills thought. I sat inn the grass and tied on a smaller fly. A one inch dragonfly nymph. Early in the season I catch some pretty nice fish on the little fly. Bass included. From that one place I began to do real well then moved thirty feet to where i had the gusty wind to my back. If I got a decent back cast I could shoot line a bit higher than a normal cast and get some distance with the wind helping. Totals were 20 bass and ten bluegill and in the ten bluegill not a dink in the bunch. The two flies used, BilletHead
  10. You can tie your jig anyway you want and you can cheat, remember you are the boss and make the rules . Pretty neat Phil, BilletHead

  12. Oxymoron = Glad you don't charge for free advice . You could be rich if you charged for it. Buy more pellets and bb guns. Thing is you would be poor in friends. We all like free advice. That is not why we like you though. Orion helps in that category. BilletHead
  13. Check is in the mail, BilletHead

  16. 6s to 2s for whites, 2s to 2/0 for hybrids is what I use. Get bigger if you want. I have landed big hybrids and a striper on the 2/0 size. If you look on here some I did a SBS on the shuttlecock, Billethead
  17. The term NessVegas should explain that. Firemen and the strippers in Vegas use poles. Ness doesn't put out fires but firemen have showed up at his front door during cooking, BilletHead
  18. My fish but it was my mom who released them. I had them in a basket. She felt sorry for them , BilletHead
  19. I said wildlife so your pups are safe . That and no surprises as I would run the menu by you first. Yes NessVegas would be a good tag. We all know what happens in NessVegas stays in NessVegas! BilletHead
  20. Actually John we do catch some really nice bluegill in there. When throwing small buggers we catch a bunch of golden shiners too. Will not go down the carp road. This pond is clear and we want it to stay this way. Like Ham I could not pitch them on the bank but if it isn't too windy tomorrow I may take the fillet knife along. BilletHead
  21. Yep one of these days there should be a trip up to NessVegas or drop on down to BilletHeadVille. I will warn you if it is a trip south there will be some type of wildlife on the menu . Dogs are welcome too. BilletHead
  22. You may have that right Wrench. The young Farmer, I say young because he is only a few years older than our son is very easy to set off. Good guy but feel like I need to tread lightly on his places. Because of a deal I have not hunted his place for two years now. I may next year if I choose. Yes I made the no hunt call on a deal. If the boat needs repairs I know where to take it "Simms Marine" That guy can fix anything! BilletHead
  23. That right there is a true statement. Man is his own worst enemy. You and I included. BilletHead
  24. We are counting on your early harvest, that and an address and google maps. A treat for the dogs while you are at work. Yep that is all we need . If lettuce is out of season I will bring that and the bacon, skillet and portable stove. Hope I don't start a fire on your dry cracked deck. I will try to time it with a fresh rain, BilletHead PS Hope Ruby doesn't insist on lobster tail infused treats.
  25. You are going to start a wal mart stampede just like black Friday, way to go Wrench , BilletHead
