Prayers will resume here from BilletHeadVille buddy. Keep the chin up, BilletHead

Nice report and well done guys! BilletHead did not even fire a shot. Maybe if I had that Dale call . BilletHead

Seems like they are constantly doing something over there. Every flood event messes something up and then it needs repaired. BilletHead

Wasn't asking for an invite buddy just if you need anything while you are in my neck of the woods. You have your hands full already and you don't need another in your way . Shot two mallard drakes West of where you will be hunting. I imagine I will be trying again in the morning if all goes well, BilletHead

Well said, I had to quit work early because of a well worn out body. I would trade feeling better to finish out my work. Mrs. BilletHead constantly tells me she will be very mad if I completely wear out by the time she retires and it keeps us from doing what we still can now. BilletHead

Yes there is a bench seat across the blinds. I doubt you will be checked for a throwable device but you never know as they have been cracking down the last two years. I have never been checked on 4 rivers and now will be jinxed since I said that . I have an extra you are welcome to use when you head up this way if you want. Do you still have my phone number? I am pretty close to where you will be hunting. If you get into a bind or forget anything let me know and I will try to help. Have a safe trip and a terrific hunt with your boys, BilletHead

We do up here RPS. About once a month we see one hit on the road too. Once we seen one stalk a squirrel that was under our birdfeeder. At ten foot away it made a dash and nailed it. It then sort of pranced into the woods with the limp body. Mom has seen the same thing. Years when I ran trail cameras we have got some really nice pictures, BilletHead

Ummmmm, Makes me think off all the hearts I have left in the field in over forty years. Leaves me broken hearted . Double lung them # Save a heart , BilletHead

I posted a link just above . I just got the Mrs. fed a bowl. She is very happy with me right now even though I left her with the pile of cooking fallout. We still have a deal if I cook she will clean up. This is a win, win. just so you all know I sometimes clean up just not making it a habit. Once you spoil them they begin to expect it . JohnsFolly do not show this to your better half. Keep this a secret and use it in good health , BilletHead

Ok So, so and please pass the peas then BilletHead

This is the one I used. Pretty simple and easy. I made one mistake. In the ingredients part where it calls for 1/8 tsp I grabbed the 1/4 tsp and used it instead. http://www.geniuskitchen.com/recipe/butternut-squash-soup-77825 BilletHead

First time try, Butternut squash soup. I am going to give my dish a Ness DANG. I suppose I am going to plant some squash next year incase I cannot find a wild volunteer plant . I went ahead and ate, the poor working Mrs. BilletHead will have to wait until she gets home from work. I am going to use the excuse the cook had bad timing, BilletHead

Good luck and make those memories Wily, Have not heard anything about Schell but do know for a fact they have been having some good shoots on four rivers not too far away from where you will be. Mrs. BilletHead and I hunted a small timber pond in the Horton bottoms. Seven green wing drakes yesterday morning. Two hour hunt. A mallard this morning in the same time span. BilletHead

Yes Good Job John, I know the feeling of not being sure about a hit. You followed up real well. You need to look until you know one way or another that you are satisfied you have given it your best, you did and were rewarded! Again good going friend, BilletHead
-
That is what I did, just drained them. The peppered vinegar sounds good. Warmed up last night. Waiting for LST here by the little pond. Skeeters biting. Boy you and the Mitch man are up early! BilletHead
-
I got some more Thai peppers dehydrated and the rest of the various peppers I did not get picked turned to mush. I am thinking of making some Chili oil You ever done that? Also John do you drain your rain barrels for the winter? BilletHead
-
Yep seven and all drakes but it wasn't by design it was just all boys that came to the party. A trio came in and all downed, then a group of five and one got away. I told Mrs. BilletHead we let a hen go . BilletHead

Yes, yes I know again? A little before and after from today with salad from the garden, The BilletHead's are very well fed and thank the good lord for providing again, again and again, BilletHead

Anybody else reaping a fall garden harvest? Pretty good crop here of lettuce. Did baby and cover the nights it was down to the mid twenties. Two plantings. The second planting was two weeks behind the first and it is really better yet, BilletHead

For all you golden bonefish chasers...on the "flats"
BilletHead replied to MoCarp's topic in Carp, the Other White Meat
No just having trouble trying to get all of you and your girlfriends posts in one place to respond to. Pretty tough as I don't want to do it in 22 pages. This is pretty sad even for you. Again you do not know the BilletHead or have read any of his other posts. Enjoy yourself and good luck to you, BilletHead -

Nice, Did you catch that or cut and paste one that someone else caught? If you did well done we have been seeing a lot of cut and paste fish lately. I think we would like to see you with a big carp catch, BilletHead
