My grandson is 13 years old and he thinks being in the hunt every year is normal. I'm 72 and I can't believe it. Then I got to thinking I remember the 46 world series and I've seen the Cardinals in a lot of world series and living in St Louis actually got to go to a few games. 64 was the best. I also think that the people who run that ballclub and the minor league are about as good as there is.

X2 I did the same thing and had the same results then I would check before I went but never delay or not go based on the tables of course I caught fish outside of the major period but I found the short time catches of more than a limit usually came during major periods.I fished a lot of farm ponds back then and my fishing buddy believed fish bite was better when the cattle were grazing. I never told him that was usually during the major solunar periods Of course he was almost as hardheaded as me..........

OK here is the secret to Muskie fishing at Fellows if I am casting Muskie lures they, knowing my skill, become terrorized and go into deep cover. However if I am Bluegill fishing with a small 1" grub on a 1/32oz jig on 4lb line they come out of hiding and steal any bluegill I have hooked in the 9' range, anything smaller they leave alone and it never is a small Muskie. So if I happen to be at fellows catching good size bluegill you can be sure the Evil Muskie will be active.......... -
Sorry fishinwrench, I just saw the add and thought if someone wanted a long rod they would save a few bucks. I didn't think any one associated BPS or Cabelas' with fast shipping. That train left the station a long time ago. I'm shut down with pneumonia again so I don't need anything right away so I didn't need anything right away or much before Thanksgiving

My baseball memories go back to Enos Slaughter in the 46 World Series and I grew up within walking distance of Sportsman's Park/ Busch Stadium but I have never seen anything like the last four games It's like Gibson Or Koufax every game. You couldn't write a better stretch of games. Wainwright in the clincher looked like a right handed Koufax and I didn't think anyone could top that............Hope things just keep getting better

What if they drop the number of fish allowed caught and put in larger sized stocked fish like they did in Lake Catherine in Arkansas not that many years ago. I don't know if it's a fair model because the trout fishing in the Ouchita chain is not that important to the overall fishery.

I don't want to step on her reply but I've had colon cancer in 1997 and have been wearing the gloves and sunblock shirts since then along with a boonie sunhat and I haven't had any biopsies come back positive I find if you wear the long sleeve shirts the sun does not feel as hot as when you don't have the shirts on.

I buy MLB extra inning package get every game played that is on TV only the KC Walmart Royals have a few games that they don't put on TV and then they block the broadcast of the other team. Cost $ 200.00 each year but it cost me more than that to go to ST Louis for a game.
