mic,Back in the late 60s Blakemore put out a 1/64 and a 1/32 oz brown wooly worm that got a limit about every time I used it on 2lb line at Mermac Springs by St James. In the water it looked just like the trout chow they were fed in the rearing pond but it only seemed to work in a very short time after the whistle blew. After the first hour it didn't seem to work all that well. After they stopped making them I tied my own and they still worked as long as it had a black jighead but they never worked as well in bigger water like Taneycomo or on the Current below the park. and Gavin I think some of Jim Green's bass crawler flies would adapt well to a jighead for stream smallmouth and on Jim's ebay site he claims that he sells the crawler flies to guys who use them on a carolina rig but I haven't tried that yet but I plan to this year..............
