I went down by the dam looking for specs. I fished over 10 brush piles. I could see fish but none of them would even look at my bait. When I tired of that I pulled out a wart and caught a 4# in about 10 minutes. I threw it for 2 more hours caught another keeper then called the dogs and put out the fire to go watch some Bball.
It may be a while before I get back down there. With that much rise I think debris and logs will be everywhere.
Stockton is only up a foot so I plan to go there tomorrow.
I just talked to my daughter. She couldn’t get home last night as Spring Creek was out of its banks and over the bridge in Hurley. She made it this morning. There is a lot of water heading to James River.
I saw the Arkansas game. They never had a chance. I didn’t make it through the Zags game. I had to stream it live on Paramount. I dvred the KState, Michigan State game. It was the best game I have seen in a while. Nowell is special.
Bo lived between Cassville and Roaring River on AA hwy off hwy 112. The phone number I have may have been his home. If any of you want to try to get more information. 417-847-0808
I got setup for that a few years ago planning on Dale Hollow smallmouth but it didn't happen. I've caught crappie, carp, drum, and cats on it but no bass.
Nice going there. Keepers are illusive for me right now. We rarely catch keeper spots.
I would have loved to be on the water but life got in the way. Our fish were really shallow yesterday but your water is probably clearer than ours. You have a lot more smallmouth on that end of the lake.
